The player that kills you in the control tower at 2:11:29 is completely invisible on your screen. When the kill cam plays he's running right in front of you, but going back they just don't exist from you POV!

That player on the control tower that shot you was invisible. There is no way he was going to run in front of you and you not see him . I watched that kill cam over and over
Holy crap you’re not kidding. Either that or 9,000 ping!!! And you know Westie was frustrated and hanging his head because he never said a thing, so he clearly never saw the kill cam. WOW!!! That was terrible.
I concur General. I rewatched it several times myself and even if Westie had a 60 FOV, he would have seen the other player who was backing up out the door as he shot Westie.
At the 2 hour 10 minutes mark, you were killed by an invisible player. I can't remember if chat picked up on it.
I rewound that twice!!! Wow that was bad. And you know westie didn’t even see the kill cam because he didn’t say a word. Crazy.

In the airport tower at time of death - 2:11:27 - the player isn't on your screen anywhere. On the killcam he's standing right in front of you. What is that about?
I had to watch that a few times, the player was not visible in the top of the tower

Had something new happen recently. This happened twice by two different teams in two separate matches. With in two minutes of the game starting, a team hunted us down with what I can only think was a wall hack because, no matter how far away we drove, or how random of a path we took, they immediately caught us and killed us with a turret LTV. Then, after not hearing any comms, they all started yelling on comms to plead and join up. I believe this may be what is happening now instead of premade teams. I agree with taking factors away as teams assimilate instead of getting rid of it. I also believe the hunt squads should be fixed where you can only hunt a squad of the same number or larger. No more 6 man hunting a solo or duo.
Ive been soloing in random trios on dmz and quite a few have always known where teams are on the map (now knowing spawns is normal and not hard to do but tracking them inch perfect despite not having line of sight like 20+ obstacles or hills or draw distance is). Luckily i havent come against many potential hackers but ive had tons in my squad at the start of a game.
Going back for the Scavenger in the heavy copter instead of exfiling, only to have the copter get D-DOS'd had me literally laugh out loud.

As a Solo yesterday I spawned out by the light house it was all quiet until I had my comms visit call out " Pl Pl Platoon of operators is nearby" I thought the audio loop issue but nope 3 six man premade teams had a fucking massive firefight while I had to try and Benny hill my way through that fuster cluck. Thankfully I got out by nabbing an LTV from a group and yeeting myself into the nearest complex entrance.

Westie I love your streaks but boy do you struggle with looting ! You literally chucked your FJX for the Cronen still had the m14 and a hemlock in your bag with a secure bag in your bag so you can’t even have 3 guns at the end of the game I was screaming at my phone the whole situation lol !

I also think (and I've tried to tell @westie on his live stream), that they should add stackable vests..... you have to build them the same but they can stack onto to other vests for one BIG vest and not having to swap them out. Or maybe add a complete vest that cost 75K or 100K to the buy?
I think the karma idea would be a good step towards mitigating pre-made/malicious 6 person teams. Or, do away with assimilation but allow the ability to revive other players without assimilating and maybe add in some sort of time or distance based protection from each other after reviving? Maybe? I don't know, I'm not a developer. 🤷

If they don't want to keep 6 man teams they should add a significant delay to revives for all players that are part of a 5-6 man team.
The biggest problem with these giant teams is you can keep downing and killing a couple at a time, but you can't keep up with the team just reviving over and over.
6 player teams being marked on the map also makes sense and every player not in a 6 man team gets a call out when a 6 player team is within 300 meters.

You know Westie even if they made it so that the highest you can go in DMZ is 3. People will still find a way to make it into a six man squad. So the problem will still be there. I say leave it as it is but have the six man teams constantly and consistently hunted by tier 3 or even add a special group. That specifically hunts down when a six man team is created. But then again it’s like I said in the beginning of my comment. They’ll just figure out how to work around that also eventually.
@Westie how about if your team is more than 3 players the all the hunt squad contracts disappear on the map.

My regular squad and I had a rare event yesterday. We got pushed by a 6 man with LTV. We got away after destroying their LTV! Then we came upon a 3 man right next to the rescue hostage contract we wanted to exfil. We eliminated them. They said GG, we said GG, then they assimilated into our group and we all exfil'd together. So yes, get rid of assimilation. We wouldn't have had to assimilate if the other team hadn't already.

Simple- 4 man squad max…. This way if u come across a solo they can still be saved… also if u have a largish group of friends and u ‘have’ to pre-make so that nobody is left out as the 4th player- 4 is less of a threat to other players

Was killed twice today by 2 platoons in LTVs it’s getting ridiculous. I mostly play warzone ranked but I play DMZ for a more relaxed evening on cod doing my missions. Something needs to be done about the 6 man’s

My bro and I play and recently we revived a guy we killed, he openly admitted that he usually plays as a squad of 6. Him and his friends create a group in xbox chat and join games at the same time, with a high rate of success. If I knew that was his game play style I wouldn't have revived him. We die to 6-man teams more often than squads of any other size. The "Platoon" call out is not enough!

Hardcore mode is LITTERED with cheaters BECAUSE there’s no killcam. That’s why I no longer play any maps on that mode. Instead, I just turn off the crosshairs, hit markers, etc. for my own view. That way, it’s still hardcore mode for me, but I’ll still get the killcam to see who’s cheating.
@Westie what about stackable vests?? You have to gather the all the supplies to make the vest but they are stackable to which ever vest you have equipped already.. and.. maybe even had a FULL vest at a buy station for like 100K or something crazy. But "Stackable" vests definitely seem like a decent idea!!
I think the specialty vest recipes should require a normal 3 plate

People complain about it but I've. Played 30+ games now with my squad 3 man and haven't died once to a six man and have encountered many. Doesn't compare maybe I have good lobby but I average 5 kills a game

To the point of the armor box taking so much. Each armor box is 6 plates… but takes up just 1 slot. The value is far more convenience and portability than anything else.
I was obssessed with DMZ ever since season 1 - I'd literally play every single evening. I've completely lost interest now since the only way to do missions is to assimilate with the team you kill/kills you in the beginning of the round. Therefore, for me not only pre-made 6-man teams suck, but also random 6-man teams just cause it seems you don't have a choice anymore

2 hours and 11 mins in when westie gets killed by that player the guy didn't render on westies screen and he is right in the same room. You can even hear the guys footsteps. Watch from westie stand point and then the kill cam again.
6 man teams need to be sorted. Teams with less need to have some benefits. One day they might sort it out. Maybe a new map for just 6 man teams

What if instead of reviving teammates when they're downed, you have to buy them back? It'll give a purpose for cash as well and you'll need to prioritize spending more.

I think getting marked on the mini map is a great idea for 6 man and I think bots should be super aggressive to the squad. Like constant reinforcements and insane accuracy

You and Stod already said the root of the problem. Even though you play the game as it is meant to. Other people won’t. They will still coordinate their squads together. Even if you remove assimilation.
Yeah they definitely wall hacks on you guys when chasing westie down. Its very common not it seems it happens to me atleast 2 or 3 times a day.

Address as it such, allow 4 mans and that is it, no more. Then you cannot add anymore 4 is the hard limit. Plain and simple.
take away joining teams altogether. i was in a match, spawned with randoms, we fought another 3 man, i downed all of them, one of their players sent a request to join their team, my teammates joined, revived them, now it's 1 vs 5. i stood no chance, lost the 302 key it took me months to find. now that all my progress is being erased i will never pay dmz again
a 6 man match mode is a way to go.

Y’all really be complaining about the wipe and the 6mans constantly right now. 1. You guys beat every mission made new accounts and made hardcore rules to make it harder. 2. You guys were killing 6 man pretty consistently. 3 your about pvp you guys don’t assimilate or be chill. You see people 150m away and chase em. Your half the reason dmz is In the state it’s in. You guys are the type to chase teams halfway across the map and then camp their bodies until you get the team wipe
Now I will say the guys who do the lobby thing to make the premade 6 is bullshit. But the finding some random team who are friendly and want to to team up is organic and should be apart. Some of the best games I’ve had are apart of a 6 man or against a 6 man. Plus we just did an assimilation last night before we went to the complex because they were doing the valuable gun screen and so were we. And then we came across a 4 man doing the same shit and we all ran the map together. That’s what dmz is about . Teaming and helping each other do missions. Maybe you and your team suck. Assimilation makes it to where you have some protection and can go to the high security threat level areas. Lots of plus’s to the six man. And the wipe is needed because they are adding a new faction and changing the way you can get your insured and giving us more options to unlock stuff through missions which should balance the pvp. Otherwise guys like you just need to go back to warzone. You treat dmz like it’s strictly pvp.
And before anyone starts in I have 1k successful exfils with a 92% success rate. I’ve killed over 800 operators have died 322 times.(to players and bots. And I have 2 5 tier factions done and I got the rest besides crown on tier 5. And crown I have the last mission unlocked . Have every case in the double digits have the valuable gun screen. Cash emblem. Heated madness. Ect.
