I loved Warcraft. Only played the MMO for a bit but I thought the movie was fun. Loved all the magic and fantasy elements. I'm going to buy it when it comes out on bluray.
Oo mason's question about all the people before Jesus that's a goodun: basically Old Testament salvation was also based on Jesus. God promised Israel (which is/represents all Jewish believers at the time) that He would save them and His prophets spoke about Jesus' coming etc, so if you, as an Old Testament believer, believed in the promise of salvation (which would then be brought to fruition in Jesus' sacrifice on the cross) then you would be saved. Paul tells us that we can only be made right with God (i.e. righteous) if we have placed our faith in Jesus, and, as further evidence of OT salvation through faith, Abraham was told by God that he was righteous. Alice Through The Looking Glass was surprisingly decent actually. It improved on a lot of things that people disliked about the first. Still not great though.
(On XMen) They should really do another movie or two in the 80's because if they catch up to the early 2000's and these actors aren't the same age as the previous ones when the series began it's gunna be weird.
Civil War was a mess. That movie should have had been Act 1: Avengers caprured and put in prison for war crimes. Cap escapes. Act 2: Cap on the run from the world and and finds Bucky and they reunite.Act 3: They break the Avengers out with Bucky having to die in order to manage the escape. Cap puts down the shield after Bucky's death and the Avengers go in hiding. This leads directly into Infinity War when the world is getting pummelled and the Avengers need to step back in. Game over. Civil War was just a convoluted mess that doesn't stand up under scrutiny.
Yeah story choices are one thing but the whole subplot of the Sokovia Accords, the unneeded inclusions of Panther, Hawkeye, Ant-Man, Spiderman (3 of which were shoved in to advertise future films), the lack of any meaningful stakes, and the amount of sheer unbelievable coincidences for cliche villain (family was accidentally killed reason) to work was just a mess of a script that needed to be trimmed back to something that could actually function as a story. But the MCU has been pulling away from plausible story telling. Its best and last decent story telling was CATWS which I might end up looking back as good luck because there's no evidence they'll continue in that tone with that tight scripting.

I don't want the next batman movie to have a bunch of the villains. I don't want them casting everyone until they know what they got. There could be a break out actor and they would miss the opportunity to use them because they casted the film years before.
I wouldn't waste my time with Sausage Party the only laughs are in the trailer (the scene where the food finds out people eat them). It's 90 mins of try hard humour and a really weak premise, it would have worked as a three minute sketch but as a feature length movie it's just as boring and unfunny as Bad Neighbours 2.

Can someone explain to me why does James (and a lot of other people) see First Class as the better film, over Days? I don't get it at all. I saw both when they came out in theaters, and I enjoyed Days more. I re-watched both recently, and I still think Days is the better movie. What do these people who love First over Days see? I hear "great cast" when really, only Charles and Magneto really stand out, and Kevin Bacon too, while in Days, some more characters stood out. No seriously, I just don't get it. It's like saying "Oh, I love Fast and Furious 6, but 7 is okay I guess," except not really, because there's not as much cars in X-Men as there is in FF (as in Fast and Furious, not Fantastic Four, which I assume whoever reads this comment, thought). And while I agree that Apocalypse was a weird messy and schlocky film, it for sure showed more creativity and had more emotion and care put into it than most of the blockbuster films this summer (Civil War was better tho, I can say that). Ah whatever, we all have our own opinions and views, I just want to understand why so many see FC as the better film.

Edgar Diaz Actually I really liked X2. I thought it was pretty great. And I never saw it in theaters, only recently, so it's pretty fresh in my mind. X2 had a tighter story, better action, dealt with bigger consequences, had a lot of neat drama between characters, it looked better, effects were for sure better than 1, and it had Magneto be the main bad guy after the X-Men had to unite. It's pretty great. Shit, maybe we're in a similar situation. These X-Men films are very divisive aren't they?
David Howse Not a single joke landed, nothing made me invested in the film. I went with two friends and we all felt the same about it. I thought the film would be almost over but then the intermission started and we were apparently only half way. None of us could bear to endure more of it so we decided to leave since we didn't get any enjoyment out of it.
I don't understand how somebody couldnt find it funny or entertaining or intriguing that's all. I know art is subjective and people have differing opinions but Nice Guys is such a well put together movie. I'm curious, did you like Iron Man 3?
