I can only assume the 400 dislikes are from jealous, can't play anything at all and never played a note in public. Shame on you. Give credit where credit is due.
You can find easier versions of it, to start with. Zimmer himself often starts with an easy baseline (watch his Masterclass) anyway and then he evolves it. I am new at piano, I couldn't even play with both hands, my brain said not gonna happen, but I stuck at it for a couple of hours and at the end of the day I can play it. It took me a couple of hours to learn the easy version, you can too. It's okay to know ones limitations, but eventually you will break them. Don't bring yourself down pretending you have no talent. Hans Zimmer’s music for Interstellar has the power to lift you up, fill your heart and make you feel like a tiny dot in this great universe. Ellie with all the surrounding distractions and sounds while also being nervous for such a public performance played extremely well. I agree the title is misleading as the best part is all of her performance. Bravo Ellie... Have you tried to play this on a church organ? Check out pianist and composer David Robertshaw.
I can only assume the 400 dislikes are from jealous, can't play anything at all and never played a note in public. Shame on you. Give credit where credit is due.
Nicolas Barrow Thanks! No I have never tried to play on a church organ. :)
I will die if i ever hear someone playing interstellar soundtrack outside
This was the one of the best performances ever
Whenever i hear this music "Interstellar" i have goosebumps 🥶🥶🥶🥶⚠️⚠️
I cry
To the moon... I mean Gargantua!
3:21 goosebumps!!
Patrik`s arrangement is my favorite! Excellent performance
“It’s not possible!” “No, it’s necessary.” I would nerd out so hard and ask for an autograph if witnessed. Freaking beautiful.
3:20 EUREKA!!!
@@murph4536 aww I was about to say that , but u already did
@@harshsinghal5898 doesn't matter. Say it. She says it twice. I'm not gonna say it I promise.
@@harshsinghal5898 I mean you can say the second eureka.
EUREKAAAA
my favorite interstellar piano performance.. I come and listen from time to time.. I've watched it 100 times so far
I can't beliieve this people. Travelling with their pianos everywhere... I mean, leave it at home dude.
Ridiculous.
Waiting to reply r/whooosh 😂
niranchan theres one now😂
@@psycheagle9 yeah lol
@@harsh_t r/whoooosh, finally I can sleep well 😂😂
Wow. I was sceptical that 3:20 was the best part after watching the first 3 incredible minutes, but wow, now I see why. Euphoric.
I come back and watch this every now and then.... and it makes me cry every damn time LOL
This song is nearly impossible to play
*But it’s necessary*
Cologram it’s not a song it’s a piece of music because there is no lyric
chan polun sorry Scorsese
To be honest it's not that hard probably grade 2 or 3
TheLegoBrickster well I’m a dumb dumb with no talent so it’s hard
You can find easier versions of it, to start with. Zimmer himself often starts with an easy baseline (watch his Masterclass) anyway and then he evolves it. I am new at piano, I couldn't even play with both hands, my brain said not gonna happen, but I stuck at it for a couple of hours and at the end of the day I can play it. It took me a couple of hours to learn the easy version, you can too. It's okay to know ones limitations, but eventually you will break them. Don't bring yourself down pretending you have no talent. Nobody was born being a master at anything, it all takes practice.
I never get tired of watching this astonishing performance!
People who can play piano this well are absolutely captivating. It's such immense skill on display.
I love when people appreciate the artist.
I just wish this goes viral. Beautifully played!!
Best film, best song, best pianist
I started learning piano with this piece, and 15 months after I still can't play the first half in a perfect way... congratulations !
Me too :'(
Whaaat don't start playing with this piece. It takes about atleast 10 years of playing piano to play this decently. But I do hope you luck in playing this piece
@@poisson5846 OMG seriously? Side note: I have heard of at least three people who were supernaturally given the ability to play the piano instantly. The first time I heard of this was from a very reliable source BTW (the late Norvel Hayes). I remember him saying that the person played just as well as Liberace...
@@Halakah7 lol no, I've been playing for a year and already mastered this piece
Owner of this channel - Hello! You need to play this masterpiece on every public piano you come across an please record footage. This piece gives me life and to see you give life to every soul that stops at your passion in mastering such a difficult set.
My dear! You have given me hope in life. Thank you for what you done. But i need MORE😭

You must be having a really sad life with very low expectations if a video of a piano performance in a shopping mall full of mistakes (especially many towards the end in the hardest part) and played with changing uneven tempo brought hope to your life.
@@micha5406 I could say similar things to you. You must be one pathetic, immature person to find negativity in his/her comment. To me, your type is the worst.
bruh ppl literally walking by with no emotion while i’m here sitting in bed balling because it’s so beautiful
Me : "UA-cam has gotta recommend this to everyone"
UA-cam : "This little maneuver is gonna cost us 51 years"
It gives goosebumps when that tune hits. The dislikes are from those who never understood the tune and the movie.
I love the contrast between this song, the infinite scenes of cosmos from interstellar the backdrop of people going about their day.
Just started learning piano at 42 with zero experience (playing sousaphone in high schools as the extent of my music experience) after being inspired by this vid. To be able to butcher through a version of this song is my goal even if it takes me 20 years to get there.
hows it going
I’ve tried to play this, it’s so difficult.. you’re amazing. I could just stand there all day to watch you play, amazing🤩
Ellie Orr, what a fantastic talent, you are so gifted. My favourite movie, the music is so evocative, it fills me with a myriad of emotions, I can actually feel it inside and your rendition is mesmerising. So wonderful.
Superlike for that girl who was so immersed even amidst the noise.
I love how it's not completely perfect from where she is still learning to master it. It shows how good she is and also how difficult it is whilst still being lovely to sense.
FROM 0 TO 4MINUTE IS THE BEST PART! I LIKE YOUR COVER, SO GOOD !!! U MADE ME GOOSEBUMPS
Son: Dad, we need to go to catch the train, it is impossible to watch the play to finish.
Dad: No, it's necessary.
Ten years later:
UA-cam: *recomended*
i was about to say the same, you are a fantatic pianist and this music speaks to my soul, how can people just walk by and not even hear the amazing sounds.. sad times
Me: wondering why UA-cam recommend that video after 1 year
UA-cam: ,,I'm gonna start this girl's whole career!"
THESE PEOPLE ARE JUST WALKING BY ON THE INTERSTELLAR THEME!?!
Btw you're awesome! I see your channel becoming a big one someday!
I swear I see these comments on every piano video. Of course people are going to walk by beautiful music in a mall or airport or wherever this is, people can be busy.
zarrowthehorse that’s exactly what I thought, people make a big deal about knowing something that others don’t like a song, and find the need to comment something about them
Seriously, I would be hugging the piano and crying.
It's brilliant. And always brings a tear because of its beauty and how much I miss my dad.
It’s so wonderful to see others that have stopped to appreciate this beautiful piece ❤️
"You can't play this piano with this squeaky pedal"
Ellie: "Hold my leg"
I've been going back to this performance since the very first time I heard it and it leaves me speechless every time. Thank you!
Here's a meditative experiece that I made for you : ua-cam.com/video/XOXgmuKevf4/v-deo.html&lc=UgzG1DVUbMExBh-kf9N4AaABAg ENJOY :)
