I love the sound of Integrities. They always remind me of the schools I’ve been to (well, three out of the four; the second school I went to had 892-2bs)
I went to Burleigh manner middle school which was built in the 1980s that had 892 and my elementary school (Northfield) had simplex 2903 light plates that school opened in 1977 and I went to two different high schools but there are plenty videos of both of those schools on my channel

That last integrity is the true hero. I'm actually surprised for only one who could be heard from where you were at and yea they need to replace the broken alarms. It's odd that even the strobes didn't work on the broken ones. I'd say that place would fail a fire alarm inspection.

A bathroom isn't typically a very loud place with the exception of hand dryers, and those are usually only on for a brief period of time. But the alarms outside of a restroom are usually loud enough that they can be distinctly heard inside the restroom, which is why most only have strobes now. However, I have seen horn/strobes in larger restrooms with lots of traffic, but even those are probably set on low volume.

There is no shortage of integrity’s in this area they are common in many buildings in this area especially schools many of the Fairfax County Public schools have integrity’s.
European here. An Integrity is much better sounding than the awful wailing sirens that we have here as fire alarms. You won't believe how ear piercingly loud they are, at high frequencies as well! I wanna get myself an Integrity because of how cool it sounds. Also code 3 is much better for an alert than constant frequency sweeping and alternating tones.

I am going to hear the integrity next month at school because there is going to be a drill because drills are the state law in Virginia and the integrity is the alarm installed in my school.
Oh no it’s not good someone pulled the fire alarm. This is the exact sound I would hear if there were ever a fire emergency in my school I Heard integrity in drills all these years when I first heard this alarm I didn’t recognize the sound of it but I know what it sounds like now after all these drills I had.

I know a lot more about fire systems here is how it work when you pull the fire alarm it will send an alert to the fire panel which will mean that if you were to have a key to reset the alarm what will happen is that it will still go off because the panel needs to be reset in order stop the alarm

I think the echo-y concrete ceilings and floors helped amplify the sound a bit.

My best guess for why some aren't working would be a NAC booster failure. It's almost impossible for all of those but one to fail.

Us Canadians use them bells. My school has Edwards, Simplex, and Mircom bells and 2 Edwards integrity horn strobes.
The Star Trek whoop was popular in the US in the 90s. One of my schools was built in '99 and used Wheelock alarms set to that tone.
And thats why you dont buy EST products. EST sure lived up to its faulty product reputation in this one.
