Agree Vince, there can't be much wrong with an used quality springer but with a used PCP a lot can be wrong. 👍

Great information Vin. I cannot. I begin to tell you how many times I have gained access to property for shooting, just because I played my cards right and introduced myself. Also, here in the u s we have game wardens. After getting to know my local wardens, they would introduce me to other landowners that they knew we're having problems.

Good advice vin but one thing you left out , when you get a good permission the best way to shoot it is on your own . I’ve had experience myself where I have tried to help someone to get experience shooting and taken them with me and the next thing you know they’ve gone to your permission without you and asked the farmer also for permission and because he’s your friend the farmer agrees , you then realise all the rabbits are being shot when you’re not there . I know plenty shooters who have made the same mistake and have also lost permissions because of there guests shooting something they had no permission to shoot. So I prefer to shoot alone and you always shoot more when You’re on your own .

Good advice there vin ,I'm fortunate enough that with a background in Agro-forestry permissions have found me,but networking is definitely the best way to get permissions as you've described even volunteering for beating on shoots will get you known..totally agree about 2nd hand rifles in fact this yr is the 1st time I ever purchased a new weihrauch my 97 ..wish I could have your luck finding such fine rifles at those prices 😂👍👍

@@steve4697 I suppose I've been lucky in regards to the second hand rifles, being in the right place at the right time. 👍👍👍

Unfortunately, PCPs are like the boy racer world of air guns, and come with the same problems when buying secondhand. There are also some very good gun modifiers out there, so it is just buyer beware. The old springers are usually much more robust and like you said, some good bargains to be had out there. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday.

Super advice vin,yep cold calling dressed as rambo does not work,i use the 16gr dead centres in my agt vixen they are spot on,jsb 15.89 are good but suffer from poor quality control.great video cheers

Hi Vin hope your well. I’ve just been testing the Dead Centre pellets 1.77 8.7 g. They work very well in my HW 97 and FX Drs tested out to 40 yards so far with around 10mm groups, they appear cleaner than the H&N 8s & FTT and look more like the QYS but a little longer. Be interesting to see how you get on with them. Have a great day

@@takeflite6799 hi buddy, yeah I agree the JTS seem pretty fine pellets. Funny enough most of my guns seem to like heavy pellets and produce a lot less flyers 👍👍👍

Vince I live in the U.S in Pennsylvania and I hate where I live because I'm into shooting airguns alot and around here I have no permissions and no where to shoot with out being bothered by neighbors calling police or somebody seeing me shooting and calling police saying there's a man shooting a rifle and cops don't know if it's real firearm or airgun so they come in full force with there AR 15 out. So I have to be alert everywhere I go trying not to be seen cause people are so nosy. Most of the time I have to shoot out of my truck so I'm not seen. And it gets me so mad because all these UA-cam videos I watch almost every person I see have great places and permissions to shoot at.

@@JohnVentarino-ey5ln I feel for you my friend. Our laws in the UK are very strict indeed, shooting from a truck or even having a loaded air rifle inside a truck while on a public road is illegal with severe penalties if caught. One of the hardest things here in the UK is gaining permissions, what I was trying to put across on the video is don't get disheartened and keep trying, and maybe in the meantime join a shooting club and meet like-minded people. Best of luck to you John and I hope you land yourself an awesome permission soon buddy 👍👍👍👍👍
