I visited Mussoorie in the month of February because it was my sister's best friend's wedding. I wanted to document everything that is awesome about Mussoorie, like the winter line during the sunset. I truly also wanted to visit George Everest Peak to be able to see the place where George Everest discovered Mt. Everest from! Besides that, there is also the wedding that I attended. Hope you enjoy the video.

I Study in Dehradun and I've been to Mussorie like countless times but after seeing your vlog, I saw Mussorie from a whole different light and perspective and it''s amazing.

Mountain Everest is on the border between Nepal and Tibet. The first attempt to scale the Everest was from Tibet by George Mallory in 1924. Nepal's side is more accessible and known simply because of its open while on the Tibet side is under Chinese control. Getting a travel permit to Tibet is much harder than getting visa to the US from India or Pakistan.
Missing those place I was there when I was 6 years old. Now I'm 20 staying here in Arunachal Pradesh. 🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂

Mt. Everest was not measured/discovered by Sir George Everest. It was just named in the honour of Sir George Everest by the Royal Geographical Society in 1865. Even George Everest himself initially objected to this as he had nothing to do with the discovery.

George everest neither discovered the peak or measured it, it was measured and pronounced the highest peak by Royal Geographical Society as recommended by Andrew Scott Waugh and his team of surveyors including John Armstrong and Radhanath sikdhar(he is usually credited for calculating the height of Everest) after years of observation and calculations from different parts of India including Mussoorie as Nepal monarchy didn't allow British officials to enter their country, Andrew Waugh named it Mt. Everest in honour of George Everest as he was his mentor and predecessor at Survey of India (Under whom Great Trigonometrical Survey took place).

You are my favourite piece, a person should be like you I have seen so far lady travel around the world to explore the place, experience, learning new things, etc. You are the strong lady I have ever seen in our country keep it up! Keep doing things which you like to do, that will make you joyous! Here in our country people are stop going for work, outside, school, college, company shut down, they believe that it will safe from coronavirus, but in reality it's wrong if they thing that it will be safe instead person should stay neat & clean, keep hygiene own room place, eat fresh food, fruits etc. On the other hand travel companies business going down, especially travel company , as India is already going down economic after BJP comes into power, again just coz of coronavirus it impacts on economic... Actually it was Radhanath Sikdar who discovered Mount Everest. And it was later named after the head of the survey who was George Everest. Anyways liked your video very much. ❤
