This almost mirrors my experience of teaching in the U.K. Thank you for sharing your experience. Many people think they can just move from Nigeria to anywhere in the world to a place and then just start teaching. I have now worked in 9 countries over 6 continents as an international school teacher and I am coaching and mentoring people who want to get into teaching too.

@jessicawest224 this is different Jessica. Relocating to do just carer work for 5yrs is different from this thing na. Besides u can't say I was looking down on carer work. I just don't feel it's enough to sell properties and carry family to survive mainly on that except person get other plans b4 the 5yrs finish. The person wey u know no get any plan B

You can check Al maansoura area, Al matar Qadeem and old airport. These places are close to metro and you might find cheap accommodation there 🥰
