    Great work! Beautiful table. The bench looks great with it. I'm sure you'll keep it, but it's a valuable set!

    This looks beautiful, congratulations!
    Please if you have time, I would truly appreciate if you would answer me one question.
    Has that polyurethane lacquer proven over time to be strong enough to keep the bark on?
    I would also like to do some wood projects where I would keep the bark on, and I'm searching for the best way to do that.
    Thanks!

    Great job. I wonder if a decorative wrought iron rail could be attached horizontally to the two legs near the bottom to help stabilize the table? To keep the table from racking.

    My planer is a bit short, so let's make it longer... I love this kind of simplicity :-).

    How has the bark held up with just the poly coating? I’m about to start a similar project people keep suggesting epoxy on the bark but if poly works, I’d much rather use that!

      I've glued the bark im się places, the test od holding only withe laquer coating.

      @@skillful_DIY_fan What? You glued the bark im sie places? what does that mean? And "the test od holding only with laquer coating"? Are you saying that glue didn't hold and that lacquer did? Is the bark staying in place or not? I understand that English is not your native language, but this is a very important question and I really am interested in the answer. Thanks in advance.

      @@63Ducati1 no no no. Sorry. I glue bark on all places where it was falling off. The rest was only covered with lacquer

      What did you end up doing? I was going to gorilla to wood glue any loose pieces and let that dry 100% then coat with epoxy resin using a paint brush and let that dry before putting on a thick coat so it doesn’t get mixed with a thick pour of resin and bark/glue pieces

    Panie kolego, bardzo fajnie wyszedł Tobie ten stolik. Jak się sprawuje po dwóch latach?

    • @skillful_DIY_fan
      @skillful_DIY_fan  4 роки тому +1

      Ech fakt, to już dwa lata. Stolik ok. W dwóch miejscach musiałem podkleic korę bo odeszła miejscowo, się poza tym stoi cały czas pod dachem na dworze i nic się z nim nie dzieje złego. Polecam kolegę programistę:)

    What would you use instead of the planer? I am using a similar piece of wood for a mantle shelf.

      +Rabbi Chanan Krivisky search in yourube. People are makibg the frame and they are using it with a hand router to plann the surface
