My two favorite red lipsticks are: - Nars Jungle Red - soft matte, non drying, long lasting, suitable for sensitive lips, no perfume - Mac Russian Red, matte, superb colour, true red, no hint of orange or pink If ind the Liza Eldridge Velvet Ribbon slightly uncomfortable on the lips. I have several special editions red from Chanel, (Christmas) such as No.5, but I am not keen on the golden sparkles although they are dicreet, they change the colour of the lipstick.
totesflaisch Body Shop has a beautiful true red and it is very affordable. I am sorry I cannot remember the name. Another one is Mac Ruby Woo. It is tricky to apply because if you make a mistake, it is difficult to remove. However, once it is in place, it does not budge, you can eat, drink, it will stay impeccable.

I'd love to find something a tad bit darker, but most lipsticks I've tried tend to go more to the plum/purple side the darker they get
@@totesflaisch I so agree. The dark purple colours do not suit me at all. If I want a dark red, I go for ones which have a brown tinge to them. I think Chanel have a few of those.

Red lipstick 💄 is a statement during the holiday and a staple piece in my collection too . Since, I have a warmer undertone my favourite one which I actually own is Dior 999 in the satin finish 🥰it’s my OG product . It’s long lasting, doesn’t dry my lips and looks amazing 🤩.
You wear red so well! It’s so much fun to see the variations. I had been going more low key recently but gave in to the promo of Chanel’s Coco Club and I love it. To my eye, it has a touch of blue/purple which somehow tones it down just a little on my lips and that works well. Oh and I love the fashion show! Apres ski is definitely the perfect attire for all of this winter!

Love a red lip. Have almost all of CT’s reds, Dior 999 in the Matt and the gloss, Burberry military red, Mac ruby woo, Russian red, as well as their liquid lipstick in numerous colours . Added velvet ribbon to my collect. PM Elson and elson 2 and McGrath Muse are a fave. A bit obsessed I think🤣🙈

Oh i love the dior 999 . I have it in the red ultra care packaging loks a little warmer ln me ( perhaps because it s a little more mate than the satin). The next favourite is nars dragon girl . I love the pink red it looks so true red on me. For a grafic orangey red look i like lisa s velvet morning :) . For a sleeper hit of clasic red i recomment ysl. I love rouge paradox ib the slim formula . It s classic neither warm not cool, but definitely unique. An sa in paris insisted it s my color and i agree with her. I also like the private carmin in the new slim matte glow formula . For a mask proof wear i love the nars matte pigment in starwoman :)
I have Givenchy 333, and just got Chanel Coco Club but I would love to get the new Dior 999 velvet formula. Would be great to compare to Lisa’s velvet Ribbon 💋 Great vid!

Ally, sorry for my question, but what size of other brands are you wearing? Want to purchase Eldridge’s hoodie, but can’t decide what size I need(( my fav is Dragon girl, Nars. It’s not a classic red, but for light to medium skin tone, like I have, and brown hair and eyes suits perfectly:)

Mac Russian Red is a classic for a reason 😁 I haven’t heard of that Nars shade but I’ll be sure to look it up. Thanks for recommending it to me.

My lips are also on a thinner side, but red lipsticks are my best bet. I think it's not a matter of shape but of the overall look and contrast.
