I’m from the Deep South and I can honestly say that this song is the truth. My summers were filled with bare feet and popsicle mustaches. I was brought up in a cotton field in a town of less than 200 people. Everything revolved around church and school. I’ll say this, you haven’t lived until you’ve been to a donkey basketball game! 🤣
Ms. Wynonna said that she went on tour they were scheduled for. She said it is what she would have wanted to celebrate her mom. If you watch one of the performances of the tour. She did an amazing job performing love can build a bridge and they included Naomi’s vocals
Welcome back, and I am glad you regained your voice. We missed that daily wisdom in your reactions and also that proclamation telling us to "have the day you deserve". This was a beautiful song of childhood memories. The Judds are angels sent from heaven. It is sad that Naomi suffered from bipolarism . She was a brilliant actress and singer . Alsona beautiful person all around. Her light is missed here on earth.
Naomi Judd was an intensive care nurse before beginning her music career. While working as a nurse, she contracted hepatitis, which eventually weakened her to the point she had to retire from touring with her daughter. She also had a long battle with depression, as everyone now knows.
I found your channel a few weeks ago and I absolutely adore you with that being said I have two songs that you might find interesting by Dolly Parton. The first one is me and little Andy (bring your tissues for that one) and the second is Mountain Angel ,yeah I probably want some tissues for that one as well.
Even greater than her musical contribution, Naomi brought attention to clinical depression. Those of us plagued with it will be forever grateful to her. RIP, Naomi.
Wynonna went out on her own when Naomi had to retire due to her illness. Hepatis C is what she had. Wynonna had a pretty big solo career. Wynonna still tours to this day. Their real names are Christina and Diana. Diana Judd got her name from the Bible "Naomi" Wynonna got her name from the song get you kicks on rout 66. They were signed in1983, Wy was 18 then. Naomi retired in 1990. Wynonna went solo and remained in country music.
Glad to see you back. Proud of you holding to your ✝️. Beware the laryngitis of PDC. God is holding you to a higher standard. Keep up the good work. Bless you and yours with His grace, mercy, and truth!! Love you sister
Hi Britt, Happy Thanksgiving! This powerful song was originally recorded by my beloved Lari White for her brilliant 1998 album "Stepping Stone". It was Co- Written by Lari's husband Chuck Cannon. I was sure that Lari was co-writer on this, but it appears not as she wrote or co- wrote most of her songs. Nothing against Wynonna, but I honestly much prefer Lari's version. There is a live performance of her performing it on an episode of the George Jones show from I think 1999 that is on youtube. Lari had so many great songs, but "If I'm Not Already Crazy" is a song of her's from 1994 from her Gold Album "Wishes". that I have been trying to get someone to react too. Wynonna's version didn't come out until 2003 and some of the lyrics are slightly different. I'll see if I can find the link to Lari's version. I'm not sure if you have reacted to Lari's unforgettable duet that she co -wrote with Travis Tritt called "Helping Me Get Over You" from 1997. Nominated as vocal collaboration of the year on two different awards programs. I noticed that the upload from Lari White.org that had over 11 million views is not currently up on UA-cam, but there are other uploads of the video. She also had brilliant duet's with Esra Tuaolo "Another Broken Heart" and with Toby Keith "Only God Could Stop Me Loving You". Lari also produced some of Toby's albums in the early 2000's and was nominated for a Grammy as best Producer. She won 3 Grammy Awards during the 90's. Sadly, Lari died of a rare form of Cancer in January of 2018 after just finishing a new album project. She was only 52 years old. Her Husband and her have 3 children.
We lived on a hill and when it rained, we’d put on our bathing suits and sit on the side of the road, letting the water run over us. It was a great way to cool off in the summer.
Naomi retired from the road in the early 90s due to complications from Hepatitis. They still sang together on stage occasionally but Wynona went solo at that point.
Hey Britt, love the reaction. If you want to see and hear family harmony, you need to find the Malpass brothers, they look like Elvis and sing like Hank. Check out Hoping that you're hoping, from country's family reunion.
She loved singing it was her comfort space but she battled it in private and each time she went out on tour it would wear her out mentally. It is untreatable depression.
@@brittreacts one of my favorite singers is Raelynn hope u do her some point she has so many great songs but one she wrote about her daughter is called Raisin me county girl Judgin' To Jesus
Try Vince Gill and Patty Loveless singing together. Vince says they have brother sister harmony and are best buds. "Pocket Full of Gold" live from the 1991 CMA awards show. Audience of their peers. ua-cam.com/video/V6SF9XY6cBw/v-deo.html
Spent 2 years touring with them. It's a dirty business, they should have refused some of the compromise forced on them. Great entertainment, couple hundred shows a year can empty your soul.

Love this. Two of my favorites "Working in the Coalmine" & "Rocking to the Rhythm of the Rain".
I grew up listening to the Judds. Had all their cassettes. Always loved their harmonies 😊

Keep going on the judds, brittany. There's nothing they do that you won't like.

She literally just described my childhood. ❤
My first concert was the Judds farewell tour in the early 90’s. What an experience I will never forget
Me too! So good!
I saw them in concert when they first started touring, they were amazing

The actress Ashley Judd looks just like their mom to me.

More Judds songs are Why Not Me and Mama he's Crazy. The 2 songs that made them stars.

Wynonna did continue on and her mother was proud of her! If you get a chance watch the Judds from own. It highlights their life while on tour.
I have Wynonna's autograph trading card, beautiful auto, took her time to do a nice one. It even has a heart, really beautiful.
My favorite of their songs is Grandpa
Yes 🙌🏼 ❤
No one else on earth, Wynonna shows what a powerhouse she is!!

She is his only need by wynonna is a gem one of my favorite songs.
You should react to a live version of mama he’s crazy. There are some great live performances were you can see the back and forth between them.

Damn I miss the good ole days of country music
Very kind suggestion: "I Learned That From You" by Foxes and Fossils ( the greatest cover band EVER)
