It is impressive how Baker manages to write these characters so lived in as you say, with The Florida Project it's surprising how occasional the recognition of Willem Dafoe is to the audience, you sincerely believe that he's just a hard lived motel manager, when in reality he's one of the most famous faces and voices in pop culture for the last few decades.
@ tbh: 1 The Florida Project 2 Red Rocket 3 Anora But they’re all really close and I love them all. I might change my mind tomorrow. Especially between Red Rocket and Anora. Thanks for asking!
This is hands down Sean Baker's best movie and also his magnum opus. Mikey Madison must win Best Actress at the Academy Awards next year! Please God please let her be nominated and win! 🙏🙏
@@augustkellerwrites Thanks I watch the movie and i really love it and i want Sean Baker and Mikey Madison get as many nominations in Awards shows next year! The movie, if i'm not mistaken, also won Palme D'Or (Best Film) at Cannes Film Festival this year I think which is ultra highly well deserved!
@@augustkellerwrites Yes it's actually the first American film in 13 years to ever receive the highest award at Cannes since Terrence Malick's The Tree of Life who also won the Palme d'Or at Cannes Film Festival in 2011!
