The books of the Bible were written by different authors living at different times and addressed to different people and addressing different issues. The compilation of these books serve as a guide for Christians to know their history and to know God and find their way to Him(rather to open the door for Him to find them). I find congruence in the content across books. I also feel like sometimes when I read, the scripture speaks into my life specifically. I keep reading because I find hope, love and peace.
