Filipino Reactor. Keeping it real and natural.
I am Nephi Acaling. I am native to Bacolod City but currently living outside the Philippines due to job assignment. I’ve lived in different countries like Singapore, Japan and United States due to job assignments. I was in the US when I started this channel thus the confusion to some where I am truly based.
At a time, I was a band vocalist performing every Friday and Saturday night at a local bar chain but recently decided to quit from my band to focus on my UA-cam Channel and my full-time job as an engineer.
I was a member of the Filipino Voice Symphony where I was taught by professional chorale singers (e.g. former soprano from UP Madrigal Singers). Our choral group actually bagged the Gold Medal in the International A cappella Championships held in Singapore in 2011.
I was the Glee Club president and was a trainer for various singing competitions when I was in the university - all these were humbling experiences for me.
WHAT IS THE GOAL?
My mission is to promote music among different regions and try to make people from different countries relate to each other through music and singing. I have always believed that even small gestures in understanding similarities and differences towards others may actually lead to greater awareness about countries and their people.
In this modern world full of things that divide humanity, it is but perfect to put efforts in re-uniting and building bridges among all of us.
I have come to a point of trying to find a greater purpose in life, something beyond just being happy for a moment. Happiness in life is more meaningful if we choose to be useful, be honorable, be compassionate, and make a difference.

I loved that song too. Their dad wrote it to inspire people with sickness in the fam. Their mum had cancer. She was flown over to see the eurovision as surprise to support them in the Eurovison competition. A while after Eurovision she sadly died. :-( Now you know that I think it will touch your heart even more. Do check the full song lights and shadows out. Its very nice.
Nephi, I have to admit. After I watch each OG3NE release (or Beste Zangers edition) I rush over to your channel to see your reaction. I love your reactions: so much empathy and joy. Keep up the good work!

That last song was a an original one of them that was dedicated to their mother but shortly after that she passed away

Tip Nephi they have an online concert this sunday. You can buy a ticket online and watch them live online. Its 3-4 Euro. You then get a link and a code to enter 17-5 at 19.00 Dutch Local time. From what I understood they will be in a studio with plastic screens between them to keep Amy safe who is in the risk group and will do all the homeissolation video songs live and chat with the fans. I also recommend to check their youtube channel every wednesday/thursday. They usualy put something new out every week on wednesday early afternoon Dutch time.

Love Shine A Light, is the last time the United Kingdom won the Eurovision Song Contest - the artist was Katrina & The Waves, who you'd know sung 'Walking on Sunshine'.

I’m so impressed that you know their song Lights and Shadows! Did you know it was (co?)written by their father and is about their (then) dying mother? She past away shortly after the girls’ participation of the Eurovision Songcontest. The song has a lot of meaning to me.
