What’s a “normal” workday? 10-12 hours?
14 hours lol
Nice piece here really love the video
Thank you
very useful information. I am interested to haul container but don't know how to get started. I am hauling freight back and forth from Oregon and Washington. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Where are you based out of? Most port work can be found on Craigslist or indeed.com. I’m not sure how the ports work up there. But I’ll try to help the best way I can.
I’m OO thinking about joining IMC, I’m trying to make money, Operations talking about i can make $2000-2800 weekly. Can i make good money doing containers?

When looking for a chassis, for a load. Can you go to places, like AIMZ or Flexivan. To get a chassis. Then, once you get a chassis, are you buying g it, for the load. How's that work.
Yes you can go to AIMZ or FLEXIVAN. You have to make a account with them. I thing they might do a credit check if I’m not mistaken.
@Life With Ryda . Ok, good to know. Thanks.

What’s up man! Im new to being an owner op & I’m looking into getting into hauling for the port. I have no clue on what I need or need to do to get in. I have my truck & local permits. What else do I need? & is it worth it getting into the port?
What up fam you need a
Twic card
RFID TAG for your truck
Then you have to pay for your LB/LA port fees
Can you tell me how you go about finding a load at the port?
Try Craigslist it’s a good resource for jobs. inlandempire.craigslist.org/search/trp?query=ports+
Are the ports pretty consistent throughout the year?
Yes they are.
Seems like a lot of work and waiting for horrible pay.its it more if we bring our own chassis? Own authority?
Yes you make more with your own chassis and they pay you for waiting time
how many miles for that 622 load... still getting that rate today?
I was like 150 miles and no the rates are nothing like this
Thanks bro
No problem
With those chassis can you move the tandems ?
Some chassis you can but not all.
Who u use for insurance to use dryage alliances app
Try strong tie insurance
great and valuable content brother. It is better to own your chasis in order to gain time? what are the cons?
Yes if you own your own chasiss it saves time. But you will have a lot of live unloads.
@@lifewithryda so its better to wait at port
@@josefiol9520 sometimes it’s better because you get wait time and you don’t have to sit in traffic all day
you should get a go pro
💪🏾
What app is that bro? Who are you leased on to? Thanks in advance!
I have my own authority. I use the Drayallaince app for loads
