Good stuff Linda , looks a nice route and a stunningly clear day you got ..I've never done anything in the Ochils yet but i will sometime ..cheers Stevie
Hello. I am thinking of completing this circut in next few weeks. I did not notice any wee burns or trapped water in your video but when I view the OS map I see some indicated running both N and S sides off the Andrew Gannel Hill. I wonder if you have experience please on the likely fresh water availability on the Ochill hill tops in this area. I enjoy sleeping in my bivvie on the tops but am so much more comfortable camped near water. A very well documented trip with lots of good shots for route finding. Thank you.
I think you might struggle with water sources higher up the hills. It’s been so dry most of the burns will have dried up. Your best bet is to fill up at the footbridge before starting the steep ascent up the law. Sounds like a great trip, enjoy. ☺️
@@LindaOutdoors yip understood. Ill just have to carry in 2l for the day and night and breakfast. Strange I have some psychological deterrence to carry 2kg of water. Ill just have to mature my attitude a bit and thank you.👍

@@justmyopiniontoday7548 I agree, an extra 2kg weight is a bit daunting to carry. 👍
