I really have a hard time watching sequels that use new main characters. Even if there's cameos by the old MCs. It's just hard for me to reinvest in new people. Kinda like going from Shippuden to Boruto. It just isn't the same.
To me avatar is basically perfect or at least a 99/100. Especially with an overall 1 big story. But for Korea set up so differently with 4 small individual arcs. I believe Korra high’s succeed atla. Its lows are definitely lower than atla. But with that being said. Something about the way korra hits home in that last season all the way to the finale episode 13. Leaves me honestly thinking…”yeah atla is still undisputedly perfect but as I’m watching korra, somehow this is better “

@@DCNetwork i suggest you read them all, as well as the kyoshi books. very good continuation of the story, plus you learn how republic city was founded, if zuko ever found his mum and with the korra comics, you can see a kuvira redemption ark (not really sure about that one).

I wouldn’t say it is a better show than that. Its predecessor, but it is a good show but I just think avatar the last Airbender had better feature. Legend of Korra is probably a more successful sequel. A continuation of the avatar universe even breaking the og series record of four seasons instead of three I don’t understand why they a lot of people hate that show because the only bad season was season two there are some good seasons like book one book 3 and book 4 look like or hate korra but I wouldn’t call her the worst avatar ever when she save the world a lot it’s not her fault the past avatars are gone look Cora is always going to be Canon. At least korra is at least better than the Star Wars sequel trilogy because korra many people has excepted the series to be good and also it’s part of the canon
