The Lallantop brings to you, in this special presentation, the intricate details and fascinating information about the Statue of Unity, the tallest statue in the world.
Watch as Rajat Sain and Roohani take you to a journey of this engineering marvel, the story behind it, and how the idea of such a feat came to fruition. Standing 182 metres tall, creating an awe-inspiring silhouette on the firmament of Gujarat, this statue is designed by renowned sculptor Ram V. Sutar. We learn the story of how PM Modi visited Sadhu Island and looking at the scenic place he imagined that one day such a feat would be achieved here. We also get to know how more than 250 engineers and 3000 workers came together to build a record setting monument. The place offers deep insights into Sardar Patel's life and times along with the then political turmoil that the newly liberated country was facing and how the iron man of India unified hundreds of princely states into one nation.

I went here when the statue of unity was built recently and that feeling of watching it next to you is unforgettable. Seen every walk of life admiring it. Every Indian should visit at least once if they can.
no development around it just statue , I went there but will not visit again taj mahal is still good place to revisit again

Statue of unity hai, dam hai, sunset point hai bus itna he hai. And most imp transport facility proper nhe hai waha jana tak jane ke leya, cab wala luta hai.

Not a big fan of Modi, but Narendra Modi has done some very good things for Gujarat, Statue of Liberty is one such thing. In spite of all the criticism, he has accomplished many good things. Gujarat is now having the biggest power plants generated using solar energy, huge savings because of this. The entire state is now getting 24 hours electricity, which has really transferred the entire state. Small towns are transformed because of this project, the entire project cost is already recovered just because of tourism. 👍
