The issue is that Arle is a good DPS regardless of the supports you use. Mavuika is tied to having AT LEAST one Natlan support to achieve a consistent ultimate and two Natlan 5 star supports to do insane damage.
No arle is tied to bennet, mavuika can go bennetless and be literally the best dps in the game so you can use benny on other teams,I think that is more important since bennet is so demanding

@@TaseJawNah dude, she works in numerous teams with other supports, no need for Bennet. Chevy, Yunjin, Yelan, Xingqui etc it keeps going. Mavuika is amazing but she does have expensive requirements for you to output a ton of damage or keep doing her optimal rotations. If you don't have Xilonen and Citlali it's gonna be a bit rough getting optimal rotations with Mavuika until more natlan units release and you get em.
That could be true but keep in mind Arlecchino is using a 3-star weapon. While it's very good on her, it's still worse than some other 4-star options for Arlecchino.
Arrlechino is easier to build thou since you don’t have to go around natlan exploring and can be paired up with basically any elemental reaction team. Thou with the right team both do similar dmg the only con is mavuika playstyle may be harder and can take time to get used to and idk how to explain it but her only good team is vaporize/melt. Mavuika may have a rerun soon so it’s better to pull for arlecchino now cause she may get her rerun like in 6.0+

For those who have doubts, it's basically the following: Mavuika has more burst damage, which means that while she's on the field, she deals more damage than Arlechino, both in front-loaded and charged attacks. On the other hand, Arlechino has consistency, as she can keep attacking with basic attacks indefinitely. Depending on the content, Mavuika might be faster, but overall, I think Arlechino is better. After all, I can keep attacking the monster until it dies. If the question is who deals more damage, it's Mavuika. Now, if the question is who is the better DPS, in my opinion, it's Arlechino.
arlecchino can attack indefinitely but her supports can't lol, no burst lasts forever to buff her normal attack. Otherwise, when mavuika's burst is over that means a new rotation begins with new buff from the team, thats why her damage will be always higher than arlecchino
@@haonhat3804 they both have similar dmg the only con is mavuikas playstyle is tricky for new players and that mavuika has only two teams: melt and vaporize. Both characters basically have the same build thou; which is atk and crit + pro dmg bonus and you can basically just use melt and vaporize on arlecchino too.
People were using the same argument when they were comparing arlechinno and nuevillete saying that she’s better because she clears content faster. But now when they release a character who can clear faster than arlechinno, all the arlechinno mains are pulling the, “consistency” factor.
So basically, I'm fine with one or the other and don't necessarily need both to keep up with the game. I really hate the motorcycle gameplay (It got old real quick after I got Herscher of Reason in HI3) and already have Arlechinno.

Mine at c0r0 with c0r0 furina c2r1xilo and c6 sapwood Bennett does 680k burst at level 6, it should be much much higher with citlali, should be over 1 million at talent level 10

I can't believe people are actually eating this up. There is no competition, Mavuika plainly wins. This guy's talents are capped at 6 and 8. Mavuika's CA is a significant AOE AND she's capable of so much more, like sprint jump > plunge when she's out of Ult state. At 2:39 he used Citlali without triggering reaction, therefore scroll of cinder city doesn't activate. iirc Citlali has to trigger the melt for effect to activate, can someone back me on this?
Mavuika is very restrictive good luck if you don’t have Xilonen/Citlali , you won’t be hitting these numbers. Also This guys using a 3* weapon and 4* craftable, probably watch a whales c1-6 comparison to see difference. Which i guarantee the dmg is similar or Mavuika slightly ahead.

Mavuika is more f2p-friendly. She can use a free mailed flower and her signature is good for all claymore dps. Having one nightsoul character isn't e en a big deal, Arlechomo needs a shielder and the only shielder who can protect is Zhongli. Mavuika can also be sub-DPS, so more flexible unit. AND she has the highest dmg in the game. The groomer has been powercrept in less than six months lol, cope.

just take note, after mavuika cast her burst within 18s she can do that rotation again if your bennet have good ER. edit: ER is for bennet burst not for mavuika I know she doesn't need ER because FS fills her burst that's why xilonen makes her burst fills up faster.

as a F2P i would prefer flexibility, if they are doing this they will start to milk money which i dont be surprised they will add more restrictions and limitations later making the game not friendly for F2P
@@raufmeisteryeah i know, i'm aiming for flexibility too, but if you've been playing this type of game for a long time you'll have a lot of experience, and i think if you're really aiming for flexibility, you're better off pulling for support and only aiming for your favorite characters as dps, that's how i still enjoy the game while still completing all the end game content or competitive side of the game. if you make everything competitive you'll get bored quickly and will continue to use "social media" standards for everything.
Since I don't have Xilonen or Ororon and don't have enough pulls to get both Mavuika and Citlali. Imma just settle for Arle cuz imma put Xilonen on her team anyways once I get her too. Then if Mavuika rerun comes out then I pull for her(also I don't want to use Kachina since she'll just make the rotation tedious)

Just mavuika , xilo , benny and rosaria should do more dmg than most of Arles team except maybe her best , Its just that your mav build probably sucks or you don't have a good weapon for her
So basically if you get Mavuika instead of Arlecchino you are sacrificing a tiny amount of damage that is only gonna put you 1 second less efficient compared to Arlecchino BUT you are getting the fastest character in genehin impact plus you can fly and climb , and you can be main dps and sub dps and buff your team and reaction nuke
his rotations had some issues. he used skill before burst , applying pyro messing up CA melt and vapes. plus a pretty bad weapon choice and mavuika not maxed talent both chars are competetive.
You seem to be confused. Arle is the weaker one here not Mavuika. This showcase isn’t very good and Mavuika’s talent levels are also very low compared to Arle’s. Higher talents and a better showcase would easily put Mavuika ahead here.
mavuika is stronger than arle. but mavuika's exploration powers are cope, she does everything but she is god awful at everything too. she sprints for a mere second, she climbs less height than citlali's jump (xilonen climbs like an entire mountain in comparison), she surfs for a second... xilonen is still exploration queen
I still like arlecchino more, mavuika's gameplay is tricky (not in how to play her, but how she attacks), she rotates around her with the charged attack, and the enemies can be in the center and hit you without getting hit

When using Citlali with Mavuika you can get 4 melts on her charge attacks after her burst with a slight change to the rotation. After burst wait ~ half a second after before starting your charge attack spam and after the 3rd hit of the charge attack do a jump cancel and charge spam again. That will get you 4 melts on her charge attacks from Citlali. Good chance you would had killed the boss within that test doing this. Once you have pyro aura on the enemy you are nog getting any more melts on Mavuika that rotation.
The better dps is arlechino if u don’t have xilonen ,because she spends her night soul points quickly, other Nathan 4stars could work but won’t be as strong as her best team which needs xilonen and citlali, but in the end they seemed to have pretty similar damage that might change when mavuika talents are maxed tho, but for new players arlechino is better for them since she does not require a specific 5star for full potential like eg yelan can be replaced by xingqiu tho damage is much lower it works. But this can be subject to change as this is merely my own opinion on them
@AlwaysThirstys Citlali takes forever to generate fighting spirit for Mavuika, and in most comparisons that came out of Mavuika without Xilonen in his comp, Mavuika already has 100% of his fighting spirit pre-charged, in practice Citlali is not enough to charge Mavuika's fighting spirit to the maximum.
Mavuika never use the skill at the star of the rotation cause u want to melt with her ult and her spin are not gonna melt neither or u gonna end up miss a lot of dmg
For an F2P, I would suggest to go with Arle, since u can run arle with an all 4 star team: [Benny, xinqiu, sucrose/kuki or any other u can find], with a 3* weapon [White tassel] and Gladiators set artifacts which you must have 100's so some decent ones you would have, if you are just doing boss fights. No need to farm FoHW. Mavuika u need atleast 1, optimally 2 natlan characters and theres only 1 4* character, ororon, who isnt a good teammate. Else your burst uptime will be abyssmal since she doesnt use energy like normal characters but fighting spirit which is gained by consuming nightsoul points. The 4* craftable isnt the Bis, best to use Mailed Flower [Event exclusive] or Serpent Spine[Battlepass]. For artifacts you would have to farm either OC or SotHoCC, which you may not have access to if you haven't reached Natlan. I have both of them and my arle is crowned and i am also planning to crown mavuika.

Have all these characters except Yelan and Citlali. So far I've found Arle to be more reliable to me. However I am still testing out Mav, going to test her with Bennett, Xilo, and Rosaria, but need to finally build Rosaria to how she works as a Citlali substitute. Tried Mav on teams without Natlan characters, like I switch out Xilo for Kazuha and it is really noticeable. She needs Natlan characters, so if you're summoning for her just know in my opinion if you don't have Xilo or Citlali you're going to be lacking in serious damage and her burst will take forever to get full.
yeah same as you, i already tried mavuika with same team and same rotation as arlechino's. the team is vaporise with xingqiu yelan and bennet. at first rotation when her burst have 200 FS her damage is really good, better than arle's but later on i realize its so slow to charge the FS without natlan char.

That initial hit of Mavuika's burst really helps out. She's evidently the better DPS overall but I can see why Arlecchino can be useful. She doesn't require her burst to function and doesn't need the entire team's rotation to perform either. I've always used her in overworld and artifact domains for this reason. Doing repeated domains is really comfy when you can still do high damage without the entire team's rotation in sync.
Tbh, Arle's best team also has Citlali now. Or at least Kazuha insted of Yelan. But ig it's kind of balanced if Arle doesn't have her best team and Mavuika doesn't have max talents
Note: In mav she only shines with natlan team on. arle she still havent gotten any BoL based team until today. In terms on higher dmg + defense result on solo situation; arle will always better, the only trade for that is the BoL dmg decay. Pretty much what I expected...Arle having multiple advantages with one of her top 3 bis weapon and higher talents (no way you got Mavu's talents much higher than 6 at the time) and barely outperforming her. I did this on my own and got the same results. My Arle has Jade Spear and crowned NA while my Mavuika had Earth Shaker and 6/6/6. Arle outperformed, but not by much. In the future, when players have had more time to get a properly invested Mavuika, I'm sure she'll come out on top. I believe iwintolose will do this soon, so that should definitely add to the discussion.

I know Mavuika value will decline significantly. Shes just another raiden. Meta in the beginning but her value as electro dps decline when Chlorinde is released. You can still use mavuika as subdps or buffer just like raiden today. But arlecchino will be only strongest pyro Hypercarry. Because arlecchino kit is only as a Hypercarry. No, it's exactly the opposite, Mavuika is better for single targets like Bosses and Arlecchino is better for multiple targets like hordes of enemies. Arlecchino gains more BoL per rotation against 2 enemies and deals more damage in single target combat, Arle C0/R1 when facing a single target has 155% BoL and does a total of 15 hits, against 2 targets she has 170% BoL and does a total of 17 hits, and 15% makes a big difference for her not only in the damage she does but also in the number of hits she does, 15% increases her total DPS by +200K.

I'd say it really depends on the other teams an account has. If you're say, a Neuvi main, then Arlecchino is far better, as she won't demand Xilonen to function as intended, which means Xilonen is free to buff your Neuvi to the moon. She also performs exceptionally well with the Gladiator's set, so farming her dedicated set can probably be avoided. If you main someone who doesn't need Xilonen or Citlali in their team, and you've already committed to Natlan characters, then you're probably better off with Mavuika, as she WILL do more raw damage when properly built and invested, and you can just farm the Natlan set for artifacts. Speaking as a Chasca, Neuvi, and Arlecchino Main, I pulled for Citlali, as I needed a shielder for Chasca that still met her PHEC requirements, and Mavuika's reliance on Xilonen (who I skipped) makes her a far less viable proposition for my account specifically.
Her burst will always still melt because Mavuika's burst animation is long so the off field cryo support will apply cryo aura before she hits. Also, you need to skill first, otherwise her burst won't get the 40 crit rate from codex

Also, if you read her talent description, you'll see that she actually gains 10 nightsoul points, meaning she can activate the set if she consumes at least 1. And the set does indeed activate, meaning she necessarily must have consumed at least 1 nightsoul point. Technically, it states that she doesn't consume nightsoul in the Crucible of Death and Life state, but this is only activated after the Sunfell Slice. Tl;dr: she consumes nightsoul points during the burst animation, so the set works

Archinno: Pros: constant dmg, easier to build, and f2p friendly (since she can basically be paired with any reaction) Best weapon: her signature or staff of Hona (Hu Taos weapon) Cons: can be a bit stressful to build and needs to be constantly healed Best team: Furina or Kuki (someone who does constant elemental skill dmg) and pyro buffers. Mavuika: Pros: GREAT for Nathan exploration, easy burst and skill dmg Best weapons: wolf’s gravestone (standard banner) or any crit claymore 4* or 5* Cons: best team is vaporize and melt and can be hard to build for new players if they don’t have Natlan or proper natlan exploration characters, and also play style is fun but kind of confusing and hard. Teams: melt/vaporize team Best supports: Citlali and furina F2P/easier characters: kaeya, Mona, Barbra, etc (as long as they do constant hydro/cryo dmg)
Muavika is nearly better in all ways, she has a better artifact set in store. You can get xinqiu kachina bennet team rightnow on banner for easy f2p power Her exploration team is better Muavika is actually easier to build since unless you are a veteran with lots of glad peices arlecchino has one of the worst domains to farm. Mavuika wins if you have supports like Xilonen and Citlali...and if you are within the borders of Natlan (If you do not have any supports then case changes a little because ultimate cannot be charged as quickly) Outside of Natlan Arlecchino is in the lead due to her not needing supports to perform great damage (But she has extremely high dmg which deminishes over time) Either way both are extremely good units if you know what you are doing and if you have some supports
Not melting even the first CA with Mavuika and Citlali should be considered a warcrime in DPS comparisons. Cmon, bro, i'm not asking to melt 4 CA (while it's also pretty easy), but not melting any at all is a huge disservice. At this point, it feels like you would have strived to not melt her burst as well if that would be possible... P.S. Oh, now i noticed that you specifically cleared pyro with xilonen (and in "best support" just didn't apply pyro at all), in order for citlali to not trigger a reaction to activate her passive and artifact set... They're both DPS characters that have their own styles of doing dmg. to explain them in the most simplest way possible - mavuika is a nuke that needs to ramping up. - arle is a dps who's dmg decays. funny enough, both of them appreciates what citlali and xilonen can do for them, with xilonen providing an elemental res shred and citlali providing a strong shield to avoid interruptions while also providing off field cryo application. the extra icing on the cake is that xilonen and citlali can charge mavuika to make her rotations faster.
As someone who loves both characters its strange to see people argue about them like the both have pros and cons same as anyone else. Besides the only thing that matters is things die on screen which both characters achieve.
I'm not a huge fan of either character but I feel like Arlecchino, on theory, is on par with mavuika. Even maybe a bit behind her if mavuika is paired with her perfect teammates and weapons (even considering future natlan supports). Regardless, I believe Arlecchino is overall a better choice for most people given how extremely easy she is not only to use and to build, but also to pair with other characters since she has a spot in almost any team imaginable...
Kinda regret pulling arlechino as I already had Hu Tao and now have Mavuika. Hu Tao was the best pyro unit since her release till arlechino was released which was more than 2 years. Arlechino on the other hand was only truly the strongest pyro for 6 months
For places like IT where you get random teammates or events where you don't need much setup , Arle would be better suited. As long as you have the Natlan characters, I would say Mavuika clears..but having those 5*s is a pretty big condition though. At least Xilo and Citlali are good pulls regardless.
As mentioned below by other players, there are many things to factor here: - Mavuika's talents are not maxed, her ultimate is level 7 during this test. - Arlechino is going for Vaporize, 1.5x dmg, while Mavuika is doing Melt, 2x dmg Other than that, I think Mavuika will eventually become a stronger DPS, but reliant on Citlali and Xilonen, just as Neuvilette is reliant on Furina, but Arllechino will still be a powerful and cheap to build DPS.
this is me and my friend just now. His Mavuika nuked 600k-950k dmg while my Arle did continuous 120k-200k na dmg over time. Both are really good damage dealer with great potentials.
I mean teasting damage alone (whether it's raw or reaction) doesn't answer who's better. The kit itself is important and how they interact with other characters. Like Mavuika can have perma burst if you have enough NA or Nightsoul characters. Arlecchino would struggle if you don't have enough Bond of Life and also she can't be healed. Mavuika is great but mostly in Natlan teams, where she can be support too. Arlecchino is only main DPS and needs shield or extraordinary dodge skill. I often struggle with Arlecchino to get enough Bond of Life after few rotations. I am not pro, though, but so isn't majority of Genshin players. They both shine in their own fields. I also prefer to build Mavuika as off fielder than on fielder. That's because I have Arlecchino if I needed Pyro main DPS and Mavuika enables Kinich better than anyone else.
How do you struggle with arlecchino? Just tap E, fk off to your team rotation, CA on arle when the mark becomes big and bright red. Then NA till your team needs rotation again and reapply E because the E is done on CD and can be stacked. You shouldn't have BOL issues that much if at all
@@nobody-xh6ii Normally. She has issues with getting enough Bond of Life sometimes. And her BoL often ends before cooldown so you can't deal more damage with her.
The issue is that Arle is a good DPS regardless of the supports you use. Mavuika is tied to having AT LEAST one Natlan support to achieve a consistent ultimate and two Natlan 5 star supports to do insane damage.
No arle is tied to bennet, mavuika can go bennetless and be literally the best dps in the game so you can use benny on other teams,I think that is more important since bennet is so demanding

@@TaseJawNah dude, she works in numerous teams with other supports, no need for Bennet. Chevy, Yunjin, Yelan, Xingqui etc it keeps going. Mavuika is amazing but she does have expensive requirements for you to output a ton of damage or keep doing her optimal rotations. If you don't have Xilonen and Citlali it's gonna be a bit rough getting optimal rotations with Mavuika until more natlan units release and you get em.

Thou with the right team both do similar dmg the only con is mavuika playstyle may be harder and can take time to get used to and idk how to explain it but her only good team is vaporize/melt. Mavuika may have a rerun soon so it’s better to pull for arlecchino now cause she may get her rerun like in 6.0+

For those who have doubts, it's basically the following: Mavuika has more burst damage, which means that while she's on the field, she deals more damage than Arlechino, both in front-loaded and charged attacks. On the other hand, Arlechino has consistency, as she can keep attacking with basic attacks indefinitely. Depending on the content, Mavuika might be faster, but overall, I think Arlechino is better. After all, I can keep attacking the monster until it dies. If the question is who deals more damage, it's Mavuika. Now, if the question is who is the better DPS, in my opinion, it's Arlechino.
arlecchino can attack indefinitely but her supports can't lol, no burst lasts forever to buff her normal attack. Otherwise, when mavuika's burst is over that means a new rotation begins with new buff from the team, thats why her damage will be always higher than arlecchino

Both characters basically have the same build thou; which is atk and crit + pro dmg bonus and you can basically just use melt and vaporize on arlecchino too.

People were using the same argument when they were comparing arlechinno and nuevillete saying that she’s better because she clears content faster. But now when they release a character who can clear faster than arlechinno, all the arlechinno mains are pulling the, “consistency” factor.

I can't believe people are actually eating this up. There is no competition, Mavuika plainly wins. This guy's talents are capped at 6 and 8. Mavuika's CA is a significant AOE AND she's capable of so much more, like sprint jump > plunge when she's out of Ult state.

Also, arle is by no means reliant on vape, assuming c6 four stars, then arle fischl chevreuse and Bennett is better than the vape team unless you have cons on xilonen

Mavuika is more f2p-friendly. She can use a free mailed flower and her signature is good for all claymore dps. Having one nightsoul character isn't e en a big deal, Arlechomo needs a shielder and the only shielder who can protect is Zhongli. Mavuika can also be sub-DPS, so more flexible unit. AND she has the highest dmg in the game. The groomer has been powercrept in less than six months lol, cope.

@@raufmeisteryeah i know, i'm aiming for flexibility too, but if you've been playing this type of game for a long time you'll have a lot of experience, and i think if you're really aiming for flexibility, you're better off pulling for support and only aiming for your favorite characters as dps, that's how i still enjoy the game while still completing all the end game content or competitive side of the game. if you make everything competitive you'll get bored quickly and will continue to use "social media" standards for everything.

So basically if you get Mavuika instead of Arlecchino you are sacrificing a tiny amount of damage that is only gonna put you 1 second less efficient compared to Arlecchino BUT you are getting the fastest character in genehin impact plus you can fly and climb , and you can be main dps and sub dps and buff your team and reaction nuke
his rotations had some issues. he used skill before burst , applying pyro messing up CA melt and vapes. plus a pretty bad weapon choice and mavuika not maxed talent

You seem to be confused. Arle is the weaker one here not Mavuika. This showcase isn’t very good and Mavuika’s talent levels are also very low compared to Arle’s. Higher talents and a better showcase would easily put Mavuika ahead here.
mavuika is stronger than arle. but mavuika's exploration powers are cope, she does everything but she is god awful at everything too. she sprints for a mere second, she climbs less height than citlali's jump (xilonen climbs like an entire mountain in comparison), she surfs for a second...

I still like arlecchino more, mavuika's gameplay is tricky (not in how to play her, but how she attacks), she rotates around her with the charged attack, and the enemies can be in the center and hit you without getting hit

When using Citlali with Mavuika you can get 4 melts on her charge attacks after her burst with a slight change to the rotation. After burst wait ~ half a second after before starting your charge attack spam and after the 3rd hit of the charge attack do a jump cancel and charge spam again. That will get you 4 melts on her charge attacks from Citlali. Good chance you would had killed the boss within that test doing this. Once you have pyro aura on the enemy you are nog getting any more melts on Mavuika that rotation.

The better dps is arlechino if u don’t have xilonen ,because she spends her night soul points quickly, other Nathan 4stars could work but won’t be as strong as her best team which needs xilonen and citlali, but in the end they seemed to have pretty similar damage that might change when mavuika talents are maxed tho, but for new players arlechino is better for them since she does not require a specific 5star for full potential like eg yelan can be replaced by xingqiu tho damage is much lower it works. But this can be subject to change as this is merely my own opinion on them

@AlwaysThirstys Citlali takes forever to generate fighting spirit for Mavuika, and in most comparisons that came out of Mavuika without Xilonen in his comp, Mavuika already has 100% of his fighting spirit pre-charged, in practice Citlali is not enough to charge Mavuika's fighting spirit to the maximum.
Mavuika never use the skill at the star of the rotation cause u want to melt with her ult and her spin are not gonna melt neither or u gonna end up miss a lot of dmg

For an F2P, I would suggest to go with Arle, since u can run arle with an all 4 star team: [Benny, xinqiu, sucrose/kuki or any other u can find], with a 3* weapon [White tassel] and Gladiators set artifacts which you must have 100's so some decent ones you would have, if you are just doing boss fights. No need to farm FoHW.
Mavuika u need atleast 1, optimally 2 natlan characters and theres only 1 4* character, ororon, who isnt a good teammate. Else your burst uptime will be abyssmal since she doesnt use energy like normal characters but fighting spirit which is gained by consuming nightsoul points. The 4* craftable isnt the Bis, best to use Mailed Flower [Event exclusive] or Serpent Spine[Battlepass]. For artifacts you would have to farm either OC or SotHoCC, which you may not have access to if you haven't reached Natlan.
I have both of them and my arle is crowned and i am also planning to crown mavuika.
Would love to see this comparison when Mavuika's talents will be lvl.10, Arlecchino doesn't even come close, Arlecchino mains will keep coping though so there's no point Arguing with them, I also have a C0 Arlecchino with Primordial Jade Winged spear (Arle's second best weapon) and lvl.10 talents, meanwhile my Mavuika with lvl.8 burst and a lvl.20 Wolf's gravestone (which is not even her top 3 best weapon btw) is hitting 550K on overworld with a Non-natlan team (Bennett+Kazuha+Mona), Arlecchino performs way worse with the same team while also having much more crit-damage than Mavuika (Arle - 215, Mavuika - 190)

talent > weapon..since talent give more dmg multiplier and also dont fortget in this showcase bannet buff exist so it didnt matter much about the low base attack from 3* weapon...until now there no unit that can work well with Arlec melt team, even if you use Cittali with Arlec the one who will be doing most melt is going to be cittali not Arlec since her cyro application is not fast enuff

realistically u can use both yelan and citlali in non boss content and u melt very consistently cuz u cant remove the hydro aura so citlali freezes .
In bosses content u can do her bennet xl kazuha / | arle yelan kazuha / sucrose / xilone and zhongli or w/e overload and w/e
she is so flexible that this alone just makes mavuika look bad for the pulls she requires to beat arle and ppl still call it cope and sethe

@AlwaysThirstys *if you have the best supports for Mavuika. You lose even one access of either xilonen , citlali or bennett, you lose A LOT of damage compared to other DPS with non-optimized supports.
Have all these characters except Yelan and Citlali. So far I've found Arle to be more reliable to me. However I am still testing out Mav, going to test her with Bennett, Xilo, and Rosaria, but need to finally build Rosaria to how she works as a Citlali substitute.
Tried Mav on teams without Natlan characters, like I switch out Xilo for Kazuha and it is really noticeable. She needs Natlan characters, so if you're summoning for her just know in my opinion if you don't have Xilo or Citlali you're going to be lacking in serious damage and her burst will take forever to get full.

at first rotation when her burst have 200 FS her damage is really good, better than arle's but later on i realize its so slow to charge the FS without natlan char.

That initial hit of Mavuika's burst really helps out. She's evidently the better DPS overall but I can see why Arlecchino can be useful. She doesn't require her burst to function and doesn't need the entire team's rotation to perform either. I've always used her in overworld and artifact domains for this reason. Doing repeated domains is really comfy when you can still do high damage without the entire team's rotation in sync.
Well if you have Arlecchino C1 or especially C2 you make dmg extra X10
i think Mavuika should do basic attack movement against 1 enemy. That could reduce deadframe during her drift

Tbh, Arle's best team also has Citlali now. Or at least Kazuha insted of Yelan. But ig it's kind of balanced if Arle doesn't have her best team and Mavuika doesn't have max talents

Pretty much what I expected...Arle having multiple advantages with one of her top 3 bis weapon and higher talents (no way you got Mavu's talents much higher than 6 at the time) and barely outperforming her.
I did this on my own and got the same results. My Arle has Jade Spear and crowned NA while my Mavuika had Earth Shaker and 6/6/6.
Arle outperformed, but not by much.
In the future, when players have had more time to get a properly invested Mavuika, I'm sure she'll come out on top. I believe iwintolose will do this soon, so that should definitely add to the discussion.

No, it's exactly the opposite, Mavuika is better for single targets like Bosses and Arlecchino is better for multiple targets like hordes of enemies.
Arlecchino gains more BoL per rotation against 2 enemies and deals more damage in single target combat, Arle C0/R1 when facing a single target has 155% BoL and does a total of 15 hits, against 2 targets she has 170% BoL and does a total of 17 hits, and 15% makes a big difference for her not only in the damage she does but also in the number of hits she does, 15% increases her total DPS by +200K.

@@zodiacxgaming9326 Mavuika's DPS time is only 7 seconds, after that time her dmg will decrease, against hordes of enemies AOE large it is not making a difference because in the abyss the enemies are spawning next to each other, just one Kazuha is enough to join them, Arlecchino is more malleable in this sense you can switch to support more frequently than Mavuika.
I'd say it really depends on the other teams an account has.
If you're say, a Neuvi main, then Arlecchino is far better, as she won't demand Xilonen to function as intended, which means Xilonen is free to buff your Neuvi to the moon. She also performs exceptionally well with the Gladiator's set, so farming her dedicated set can probably be avoided.
If you main someone who doesn't need Xilonen or Citlali in their team, and you've already committed to Natlan characters, then you're probably better off with Mavuika, as she WILL do more raw damage when properly built and invested, and you can just farm the Natlan set for artifacts.
Speaking as a Chasca, Neuvi, and Arlecchino Main, I pulled for Citlali, as I needed a shielder for Chasca that still met her PHEC requirements, and Mavuika's reliance on Xilonen (who I skipped) makes her a far less viable proposition for my account specifically.

Her burst will always still melt because Mavuika's burst animation is long so the off field cryo support will apply cryo aura before she hits. Also, you need to skill first, otherwise her burst won't get the 40 crit rate from codex
@@NekoneChannel Wrong, go watch some showcase videos, no one uses her skill early ever. As soon as Citali is used, they immediately use Mavuika burst. You don't need to use her skill for activating Natlan set.

@@NekoneChannel this is incorrect. She gets the buff upon bursting, you can go test it yourself. Also, if you read her talent description, you'll see that she actually gains 10 nightsoul points, meaning she can activate the set if she consumes at least 1. And the set does indeed activate, meaning she necessarily must have consumed at least 1 nightsoul point. Technically, it states that she doesn't consume nightsoul in the Crucible of Death and Life state, but this is only activated after the Sunfell Slice.
Tl;dr: she consumes nightsoul points during the burst animation, so the set works

(Btw idk how to spell arlecchinos name) Better to pull for arlechino run thou since mavuika will probably rerun soon and it’s easier to build arleccino for newer players. Also both are basically the same, both rely on crit + attack just different play styles and weapons.
Archinno:
Pros: constant dmg, easier to build, and f2p friendly (since she can basically be paired with any reaction)
Best weapon: her signature or staff of Hona (Hu Taos weapon)
Cons: can be a bit stressful to build and needs to be constantly healed
Best team: Furina or Kuki (someone who does constant elemental skill dmg) and pyro buffers.
Mavuika:
Pros: GREAT for Nathan exploration, easy burst and skill dmg
Best weapons: wolf’s gravestone (standard banner) or any crit claymore 4* or 5*
Cons: best team is vaporize and melt and can be hard to build for new players if they don’t have Natlan or proper natlan exploration characters, and also play style is fun but kind of confusing and hard.
Teams: melt/vaporize team
Best supports: Citlali and furina
F2P/easier characters: kaeya, Mona, Barbra, etc (as long as they do constant hydro/cryo dmg)
Muavika is nearly better in all ways, she has a better artifact set in store.
You can get xinqiu kachina bennet team rightnow on banner for easy f2p power

Muavika is actually easier to build since unless you are a veteran with lots of glad peices arlecchino has one of the worst domains to farm.

Mavuika wins if you have supports like Xilonen and Citlali...and if you are within the borders of Natlan (If you do not have any supports then case changes a little because ultimate cannot be charged as quickly)
Outside of Natlan Arlecchino is in the lead due to her not needing supports to perform great damage (But she has extremely high dmg which deminishes over time)
Either way both are extremely good units if you know what you are doing and if you have some supports

The fact that muavika isn't maxed, they aren't on their best f2p weapons. Muavikas fighting spirt isn't stacked to 200 while arlecchinos BOL is.
Not melting even the first CA with Mavuika and Citlali should be considered a warcrime in DPS comparisons. Cmon, bro, i'm not asking to melt 4 CA (while it's also pretty easy), but not melting any at all is a huge disservice. At this point, it feels like you would have strived to not melt her burst as well if that would be possible...
P.S. Oh, now i noticed that you specifically cleared pyro with xilonen (and in "best support" just didn't apply pyro at all), in order for citlali to not trigger a reaction to activate her passive and artifact set... Now i definitely think that you are doing this on purpose!

They're both DPS characters that have their own styles of doing dmg.
to explain them in the most simplest way possible
- mavuika is a nuke that needs to ramping up.
- arle is a dps who's dmg decays.
funny enough, both of them appreciates what citlali and xilonen can do for them, with xilonen providing an elemental res shred and citlali providing a strong shield to avoid interruptions while also providing off field cryo application. the extra icing on the cake is that xilonen and citlali can charge mavuika to make her rotations faster.
As someone who loves both characters its strange to see people argue about them like the both have pros and cons same as anyone else. Besides the only thing that matters is things die on screen which both characters achieve.
Finally, I can split two crazy strong dps characters in separate teams
Hope I was not the only one who realized arlecchino started with bound life almost full (scenario impossible in reality)
I'm not a huge fan of either character but I feel like Arlecchino, on theory, is on par with mavuika. Even maybe a bit behind her if mavuika is paired with her perfect teammates and weapons (even considering future natlan supports).
Regardless, I believe Arlecchino is overall a better choice for most people given how extremely easy she is not only to use and to build, but also to pair with other characters since she has a spot in almost any team imaginable...
Kinda regret pulling arlechino as I already had Hu Tao and now have Mavuika. Hu Tao was the best pyro unit since her release till arlechino was released which was more than 2 years. Arlechino on the other hand was only truly the strongest pyro for 6 months

For places like IT where you get random teammates or events where you don't need much setup , Arle would be better suited. As long as you have the Natlan characters, I would say Mavuika clears..but having those 5*s is a pretty big condition though. At least Xilo and Citlali are good pulls regardless.

As mentioned below by other players, there are many things to factor here:
- Mavuika's talents are not maxed, her ultimate is level 7 during this test.
- Arlechino is going for Vaporize, 1.5x dmg, while Mavuika is doing Melt, 2x dmg
Other than that, I think Mavuika will eventually become a stronger DPS, but reliant on Citlali and Xilonen, just as Neuvilette is reliant on Furina, but Arllechino will still be a powerful and cheap to build DPS.
this is me and my friend just now. His Mavuika nuked 600k-950k dmg while my Arle did continuous 120k-200k na dmg over time. Both are really good damage dealer with great potentials.
Also, arlecchino with her main weapon and artifacts, she does a way more damage than than what I am seeing in this video... so yeah.

I mean teasting damage alone (whether it's raw or reaction) doesn't answer who's better. The kit itself is important and how they interact with other characters. Like Mavuika can have perma burst if you have enough NA or Nightsoul characters. Arlecchino would struggle if you don't have enough Bond of Life and also she can't be healed. Mavuika is great but mostly in Natlan teams, where she can be support too. Arlecchino is only main DPS and needs shield or extraordinary dodge skill. I often struggle with Arlecchino to get enough Bond of Life after few rotations. I am not pro, though, but so isn't majority of Genshin players. They both shine in their own fields. I also prefer to build Mavuika as off fielder than on fielder. That's because I have Arlecchino if I needed Pyro main DPS and Mavuika enables Kinich better than anyone else.
How do you struggle with arlecchino? Just tap E, fk off to your team rotation, CA on arle when the mark becomes big and bright red. Then NA till your team needs rotation again and reapply E because the E is done on CD and can be stacked. You shouldn't have BOL issues that much if at all
