@@mjbaysinger that’s what it’s all about! My son loves this show, I love watching it with him, and the next generation of Star Wars fans is being created in front of our eyes.
Great reactions, fellas! It's been a fun ride for sure! ❤ I think that was the most fun Wim's dad has ever had in his whole life, which is kinda sad. The kids and Jude Law + Nick Frost were perfect for this show. This show gave me so many nostalgic feelings. I wish I could enjoy it together with my dad. We always watched Star Wars together (even if my older brother was the one who introduced Star Wars to me when I was 10). I bet that he would have loved this show too. He passed away almost 2 years ago and I miss him terribly, and especially when I watch anything Star Wars. #FuckCancer I love this show. ❤ I need season 2! They can fix the ship and go out on more adventure with SM-33. The parents can come if they behave. 😏
@@hannahawesome85 first of all thank you so much for watching along with us! Absolutely had a blast with this show! Being able to watch it with the guys and then watch it again with my son has been appreciated even more. Also, thank you for sharing that story about your brother, my first Star Wars memory was my dad taking me to go see a return of the Jedi when I was a little lad. He is no longer with us, but every time I see anything that has to do with Star Wars I think about that day and how excited I was. I’m sure your brother was watching every episode right there with you. I hope there’s a season two, if there’s not then hopefully we get them in the upcoming Asoka, Mandalorian series or movie. Again, thanks so much for your support. 🙏
Yep, my daughter absolutely loved this, and I believe that was the point. Us adults also had fun along the way, so in that regard, I feel they succeeded with this show. 💖
Thank you for your stellar reactions, Iraj, Les, and Randy. As much as I was anticipating and expecting cameos, since hearing about this project, I'm 80% okay/happy that they DIDN'T factor in to the story. I had a feeling that, given that Watts and Ford originally intended for, Skeleton Crew to be a feature film, they weren't banking on relying on familiar characters and locales. Also, since this story is about to be officially part of The Mandoverse, Favreau and Filoni may have taken a page from their own style of storytelling, making Season 1 of The Mandalorian something new and original, with no inherent features of old familiars...only for Season 2 to be the polar opposite, with the likes of Boba Fett, Ahsoka Tano, and Luke Skywalker entering the main storyline. Now, I strongly suspect that, if greenlit, Season 2 of Skeleton Crew will begin to season in the major and minor players in the galaxy-at-large; now that At-Attin has been literally opened to the universe, after hundreds of years of being kept hidden. How SWEET did those New Republic Fleet starfighters look?! And, We got the music swells from Return Of The Jedi to go with their arrival. Regarding Jod: His story seems even more tragic than many of Us suspected...I'm going with his family was killed before and during The Clone Wars...he was out in the streets...he encountered (yet-to-be-confirmed) Jedi Knight Ninaa Nawood, fleeing from Order 66, The Empire, The Inquisitorius, and The Sith...they were both desperate, and became kindred spirits, with her acknowledging his Force abilities, and giving him some of the instruction she learned with The Jedi Order...maybe The Force resided in Jod's family, which gives him natural aptitude...for a time (maybe sometime between 6 months and a year and a half?), Jod and his "Master" form a bond, and manage a meagre existence together, perhaps masquerading as Aunt and Nephew...enter The Inquisitorius...a duel, a defeat, and an execution all done before Jod's young, impressionable eyes (aged 12, most likely)...Jod's officially LOST, becoming someone who's only out for himself, since attachments can't be relied upon. I hope We get to see a redemption for him. The 4 kids were EXCELLENT, and I really look forward to seeing them play significant roles in the rest of the tales of this pocket universe in The SWU. May The Force Be With You, Brothers. Till the next adventure.
@@SithList sure is! You can fact-check me on this, but. IIrc, that B-Wing with the composite laser (named in the Wookieepedia as the Prototype B6) first appeared in the Rebels episode "Wings of the Master", by Mon Calamari engineer Quarrie. Yup, that fella. I didn't think the New Republic would bring this to the big screen, goddamn!
Now just announce season 2! Apparently the gold has just been collecting so what happens to it? I like that season 1 refrained from connecting to the rest of the series. My assumption is they save that for season 2 because obviously things are changing both here and in the realm……
I read an article with director/show right of the show and they were saying they are hoping for a season 2 but nothing is confirmed but the ending makes it so you can continue or not continue
Clearly Jod watching the jedi who took him in and trained him be killed in front of him really affected him and what sent him down the path to be a pirate. Given he was a child when she found him i'm assuming he got attached to her and probably saw her as a mother so it messed him up. It is interesting the inquisitors didn't take him when they killed her since he's force sensitive.
Glad they kept Jod evil to the end, and glad his trend of getting his crew killed continued. Those pirates should have stuck by Brutus, he knew Jod was going to be the end of them.
My 9yo daughter told me this is her favorite Star Wars. This is enough for me to love it.

17:00 No Jod was found by the Jedi after Order 66, the Jedi who trained him was killed by the Inquisitors.

@@anthonyyoutubefan7567 Once again, thank you for your support all season and your great comments in here!!! 🙏
The Supervisor says the last message received was the Jedi were all traitors. So Palpatine knew about At-Attin?
It was a Republic mint so the Chancellor likely knew of it.
could be a default message sent to all Republic receivers
Either that or it was soon getting Republic messages without the Republic actually knowing all it was being sent that's what I thought
No it just meant that he received the message, if Palps knew about the mint then he never acted on it.
They got the composite laser for the B-Wings from Rebels! AW FUCK YEAH
