They could have met at 154, or at 160 . At 160 de la Hoya was able to give Hopkins a run for his money first half of the fight. Canelo wouldn’t be able to deal with de la Hoyas offense the boxing the jab the left hook and the ring generalships. If Amir khan could have success in the first half of his fight de la Hoya would have no problem.
