- Why Kolkata the city of joy is not as attractive as Bengaluru, Mumbai, Hyderabad etc. Mejority of content creators counting it as a boring dead destination, the major reason behind this is might be the absence of a big Industry such as automobile or IT kings Google, Microsoft's etc's significant base.
at this point of the time the concerned government should take initiative to bring these companies or industries to the east so that the Mega city of east and the weather state in east can become the power house not in terms of politics also as a super earning destination.

বাংলার অনেক সমস্যা , আগে ভুল অর্থনীতির জন্য পুঁজি তাড়ানো, তার পর চুরি cut money ছাড়াও শিল্প বিরোধী attitude ( Tata কে তাড়ানো). বাঙালি ৫০ বছর এই atmosphere এ থেকে,কর্মবিমুখ ,অলস unprofessional হয়ে গেছে। ( বাংলায় তিরিশ বছর ব্যবসা চালিয়ে বলছি )। কর্মচারী ,ব্যাংক কর্মী, পাড়ার ছেলেরা, সরকারি দফতর সব জায়গায় খালি বিরোধিতা আর পয়সা আদায়ের চেষ্টা। তাতে শিল্প উঠে যায় যাবে। কারুর কাছে কোন সহানুভূতি আপনি পাবেন না। ইনভেস্ট করেছেন, চুরির দায়ে ধরা পড়েছেন। এই পরিস্থিতি চলতে থাকলে যা হবার টাই হচ্ছে।

No hope sir. Soon banglore and Hyderabad will overtake Kolkata in terms of GDP . Even last year odisha got more investment than West Bengal. It's a shame. I will leave West Bengal very soon for higher studies. My all classmates will do the same. Most of us will go to Mumbai, Bangalore or Hyderabad.

Chennai is famous for health, Pune and Delhi is famous for education, Bengaluru and Hyderabad is famous for IT sector, Mumbai is for finance. Needless to say that so long the corruption, excess politics, agitation and other anti development movement be stopped, a state or a city cannot be developed. Kolkata is now no longer a city of joy. This type of video is an eye-opener..But nothing is going to change in Bengal..We have to admit Bengalis lag behind communities like Tamil, Telegu, Gujarati, Punjabis etc by atleast 100 years in terms of of attitude & discipline , skillset, intellectual ability , Planning and strategy , physical abilities like field of sports etc...Bengal only did well under British...Bengal has been in a free fall since 1947 when Bengalis took over the management of the state...Just ponder over few points and try to get the answer..1) How many Bengali industrial houses are present in India..Parsi community with a population of only 50k have around 10 industrial groups..Bengal still looks to some tier2 Rajasthani, Sindhi and Punjabi groups for investment. Even South Indians who were earlier known as Service class have created large industrial houses like TVS, MRF, Murugappan group , Sundaram group, Infosys etc..2) How many Bengalis/ East Indian people do we find in top management..Its all dominated by South Indians , Gujaratis and Punjabis. 3) How many good and wide roads do we find in Bengal. All narrow roads- mostly 2 lanes and some 4 lanes. If someone visits states like Tamil nadu , Mah, Haryana etc we see wide roads that are from 6 to 16 lanes..Even the Rajarhat township which is touted as 21st century city has only 6 lanes, out of which 2 lanes are occupied by Buses and parking resulting in choke points and traffic jams at various places in office hours even when the occupancy in New Town is not even 25% of its capacity. I was in Singapore sometime back. The city was built around 1970..Yet the roads are 10 to 12 lanes followed by 2 metre grass lawn and then 2 metre covered footpath. Looks like its ahead of New town by 50 years...Finally, to address these bottlenecks Bengal has to setup various expert committees. Average Bengali has to keep an eye on whats happening around the globe and increase their awareness ,thinking ability and vision. Then only there is hope after 50 years, else this type of videos will keep appearing in next 200 years

West Bengal is a state which was historically rich in industry and also had a port city like Kolkata but once it started lagging behind other states in the country and now most of the entrepreneurs in the country avoid the state and no one wants to invest here
There are not one half but many practical and political reasons behind the present economic malaise of West Bengal which I have tried to highlight in my own way
1. First of all most of the people of the whole country see Bengalis as leftists and it is real West Bengal politics is always left wing dominated and industrialists don't like it because capitalism and socialism can never live together
2. Professionally most Bengalis are government and corporate employees , techer ,doctor, singer, writer, actor, intellectuals and they are proud of it so a large section has always been inexperienced in business
3. West Bengal has always had an anti-central government in power in the state during 34 years of left front Congress, NDA and UPA were in power at the center and then after defeating left front and forming TMC government BJP came to power at the center so as a result of which the political differences and rivalry between the state and the center continued, for which loss Either the state of is gradually lagging behind in industry, business, enterprise and various other sectors
4. West Bengal is currently the most unsafe state for women rape of women, minors and children are reported daily theft, extortion, murders are on the rise police administration is completely broken corruption is rampant because of this a certain section of businessmen do not like West Bengal
5. At present, about 50 percent of the population in the state are migrant workers which further accentuates the state's lack of industry
6. The current new generation of West Bengal is lagging behind the youth of other states in the job market also they are not able to compete with outsiders in various state government exams One of the reasons for this is the politicization of the education sector in the state
7. Finally there is the lack of vision of the state government and it must be remembered that the current government came to power through de-industrialization for which any heavy industry is almost impossible to come up and the government also wants to depend on agriculture and medium industries.

When it is told that 'once Bengal was the zenith of business and economics' - it seldom attributed because of the industrialist gene in the local bengalis, but mostly due to the advent and expansion of the business empire by the East India Company, more predominantly by the Birishers and Westerners. They made Calcutta as the Capital of the colonial British India. This expansion saw more urge for the different communities in the country other than bengalis to come and associate themselves to flourish with the similar business mentality.
Bengalis on the other hand, shuned such economic proliferation except for the few sporadic families and groups.... Bengalis on the other hand choose the other side of their skill, that is to oppose and revolt against the oppression of the British colonial regime, and thus created a plethora of politico revolutionary activists whom we fondly remember and revert as freedom fighters ( every family in Bengal would take the pride in naming some of their forefathers as freedom fighters!).
It is this mutation of the Bengali gene which attributed to shunning of Capitslist outlook and become the masters of fighting for the oppressed class. Even long after the Colonial British er left India giving Indian the Freedom , the Bengali psyche continued to get going with the anti power/ anti capitalist thought process which manifested in taking a negative and revolutionary way of thinking against the Political power ruling at the Centre Govt. Generations after generations ( more than 50 yrs) continued with such anti Central Govt power system and kept on remaining detached from the benefits of aligning with the Central Govt power politics and confined with petty regional political agendas.... As political power is anonymous with the Industrial and over all economic development of a country/ State, it for the same sole reason the Bengalis are seen to be a negative energy for industrial and economic proliferation and the State of Bengal as a negative destination for Business except for store house of cheap labourers and a bunch self centered parochial political muscleman dictating the future doomsday of this community.
West Bengal has recommended the inclusion of 87 castes , including 80 from the Muslim Community in the Central List of Other Backward Class (OBCs).
This has prompted the National Comission of Backward Classes (NCBC) to seek records dating back to the Imperial Gazetteer to check the status of these caste in British India .
The NCBC has expressed concern over the high (Disprortionate) number of Muslim castes being recommended for inclusion in a Hindu-majority state.
The Mamta Govt is most probably preparing their fake ppt to ensure reservation to 80 Muslim castes compared to 7 from Hindus .

I loved this video. This is the truth. Nevertheless many things are happening we are not out of negativity completely as can be seen from some mischievous and uneducated comments, this aura is definitely missing. Many industries are happening, no doubt about it but we are not in the mindshare of people and it's easy to lose but very difficult to gain. Few great things like IB companies like JP and others should have opened some big centers here and building the craze. I feel like even though we are trying to reach the top we are missing somewhere badly on all fronts and successive governments have to responsibility for it.

Infosys is doing good, so does ITC infotech, LTI mindtree too, once they become operational sooner, many giants will follow, also plan to setup their units here.

The day WB people put economy ahead of politics, much will change.. Politics and economics should be kept seperate , WB is in extreme condition where you do politics to get your daily food, no other source of income. The election manifesto is never about economy or jobs or environment, its about political revenge only, and people are accepting that too in the state, there is no proper manifesto only, the parties keep on speaking what their party has done and how the other party is corrupt . Its sad truly that once the intellectual capital , its draining the brains and at last only the dead body wil remain.Its better to keep the young population outside the state, if they are working in the state and stay here, then equations may change - so keep them jobless or let them go to other states , who comes to vote for 1 day from other state anyways?
