Thanks Mr. Shanahan this is the best Leafs video I have seen for a long time. I grew up in Toronto 4 blocks from this outdoor rink and used to play shinny there and club games were inside. As Mr. Shanahan said it was all winter hockey and all summer lacrosse in my case.
Toronto has the best community outdoor rinks in Canada. It is terrific. Most of them have pipes underneath and can keep ice going even when temperatures are above 0 celcius.

I'd argue best network of outdoor rinks in the world. My winters have been spent playing shinny for hours in many Toronto parks!

I understand the cold feet. Played outdoors in Winnipeg for three seasons. The thaw is what kills.
I used to play with no socks in my skates. After playing outdoors my feet would freeze. Yr right. It hurts when they thaw.

sports hernia. he had surgery and hes recovering. he was mentioned here a few days ago that he was back on the ice
