One of my closest friends was a compulsive addictive gambler and I saw what it did to his family. I totally despise betting companies.
I’ll be glad to see the back of them…. Never wanted their money or their name on our shirts….. any chance Sully could go with them….!? ⚒
Great video mate….. appreciate the hard work and effort putting this together….. subscribed 👍
I don’t think that was part of the deal unfortunately 😔
& thank you so much - am glad the hard work is being recognised and appreciate the sub too 🙏⚒️
Good video again bro. Might want to look into the most popular times to upload (unless you already have) as can’t imagine 5am gets many views then may get buried.
I’m looking forward to getting rid of betway, tbh gambling needs to be as far away from sports as possible imo.
Thanks for the comment bro ⚒️
I will definitely need to look into it.. still so new to this so need to get familiar with all the nuances of UA-cam, but appreciate the heads up. Hopefully this one doesn’t get buried as a lot of time went into it.
& I completely agree, it’s a good thing we’re moving on from Betway and hopefully we can actually get a better financial deal than our current one.
Great idea! Definitely is a minefield but am just genuinely enjoying making this content at the moment, it is a lot of hard work though with all the editing.
@@HammerBytes Totally agree. This is some really good quality and well-researched material. Deserves far more views. Thanks!
Thank you so much! I didn’t even expect it to be getting the views it is so I’m very happy with it at the moment. Also have just started so I’m sure with consistency I will be getting a lot more views 🙏
@@HammerBytes Absolutely! Keep at it. It's different than what we usually see with different West Ham channels and websites, so you're adding something that more and more fans are interested in. Great work!
You are correct.....Betway had no choice but to notify the regulators about the Paqueta Island gambling anomily. Unless they are entirely stupid then the club must understand that, because their legal advisers will have explained it to them.
The days of gambling companies sponsoring clubs as shirt sponsors are doomed in any case but it is possible that we will get a better deal from another company.
The bit of your video with a cartoon of Paqueta in it is potentially libellous.
I think they just wanted a heads up, I’m sure they’re aware of the fact it had to be reported… but to not even notify them or communicate is what I think they have an issue with.
And the Paqueta animation bit is obviously comedic and think people can realise that (I hope) 😂
@@HammerBytes But it implies guilt.
I was implying what he’s accused off - it’s clearly a joke and not to be taken seriously 😂
Not a west ham fan (i’m a Barça fan) but u got a sub out of me. Your editing style is like food to the eyes i’d only suggest to drop the boom sound affect as it triggers my headaches
Thank you so much! That’s amazing to hear after how long it takes to edit these videos… I agree with the sound effects, I’m still new to this so finding what works best.
Just done a vid on an old player of yours who West Ham have signed 👀. Check it out if you get the chance (and dw, I lowered the sound effects just for you 🤣)
Once again thank you for the comment and for the suggestion too 👊🙏
@@HammerBytes You’re welcome and you’re doing great my friend. I know you’re one of those channels who will be big in the future and I’ll comment something like (been here since 600 subs)😂
Thank you my friend!!! That honestly means the world to me… I am going to make sure that is the case, and when I get there I’ll be sure to remember you 😄🙌
“…subscribe if you hate Tottenham” what else could I do? I’m now subscribed
You pretty much had no other choice 👊⚒️🤣
I remember not long after opening a Betway account I was restricted to bets of less than 10p what jokers
That’s strange 🤨🤔
That’s strange 🤨🤔
1:56 Pmsl at position 6.
I’m surprised it took this long for someone to point it out 🤣😂
That's a proper video. Looking forward to more.
Thank you, appreciate it 🙏
0:12 - there is no question where D isn't the correct answer!
Always the correct answer 😂🤣
Good video! Alas, you've got the name of one club wrong at 5:10.
Thank you very much - and which one ? 🤔
You had me at 'if you hate Totten...'
😂🤣
Mate regardless of £. Sponsors imo kills shirts.
I know, but if we have to have one (which we do), then I just hope it’s one that looks good on the shirt 😂
@@HammerBytes agree pal, the new green one kills it this year. Yes JD had its critics but rather the JD then the green bollocks 😂
It really does kill it… stands out so much and not in a good way 🤣
Non story. The clubs have all agreed to part ways with betting companies as sponsors anyway. So what's the issue? Exactly the same as alcohol sponsorships, and the tobacco sponsorships. Attitudes to advertising change and the clubs move with it.
There’s no issue as such, it’s more just providing an informative video as to the reasons why the club has parted ways with the sponsor - there’s various parts to play, and the video explores them, providing our fan base with an understanding (for those who want it).
Im up to date with your videos now and its a really good channel too, but can I ask why you still use the old badge in your graphics...or is it down to some kind of legalities etc?
In this case, I used it to represent the fact that the relationship with Betway started in the 2015/16 season… when we still had the old badge.
If you look at 5:29, I first showed the old badge talking about how they have split up. But I then go onto mention how in the present moment, a relationship could have been maintained - in which I transition into a similar graphic but with our current badge. I am trying to focus on the small details to portray the whole story,
So no, theres no legalities… and beyond the reasons I gave above, I feel like I personally resonate with it more. Thank you for the comment anyways and am glad you find it a good channel ⚒️
@@HammerBytes thanks for answering and tbh I support the club of what badge is used, I was just wondering that’s all… 👍🏻👍🏻
No problem, and thanks for commenting. Hope you continue to enjoy our content ⚒️
Get rid of Umbro too, rip-off merchants who can't stomach that our away kit isn't BLACK! The FA & Premier League should be protecting fans by preventing kit manufacturers from redesigning any single kit for three seasons. And clubs should have the integrity to tell their kit manufacturers to stick to the script on what a club's colours actually are.
I don’t really like Umbro too and would be happy to change, but don’t think that’s part of their plans in the coming years… and not changing a single kit for 3 seasons is a great idea but doubt that would ever come into place unfortunately 😔… there’s just too much money involved.
such a good analysis. thank god, your video found me. keep up the good work. #COYI
Thank you so much, I’m glad you found it too and hope you continue to enjoy my content 🙏
Already been thru the tech or PC company(s) era
Well tech has advanced a lot since then so who knows what’s to come 🤷♂️
God talk about naive, yes Betway had to do it, no argument but considering the agreement you at least give us the heads up that you are doing it!
I can see both sides… but for Betway, I think they wanted to just completely follow protocol and avoid any repercussions in that aspect. They had a situation before in which they got a lot of backlash in how they handled that situation, so think they was just avoiding that all together.
when an offshore gambling company has more integrity than you(gfy nepotism) its time to rethink .....
I hope they’re rethinking 🤞
You’re talking bullshit a quick phone call to Sullivan or some other representative at West Ham may have saved all this crap
That’s the whole point though, no phone call was made, nor any form of communication regarding the matter and that’s why the club is annoyed.
That background music was annoying
Noted. Was it too loud or just annoying in general having it there? Appreciate the feedback either way.
@@HammerBytesIt was a little too loud and don't really think it added anything to the video.
Good luck with the channel
Sure, I did think it might be too loud - need to find the right level so it doesn’t overpower the video. Thanks anyways.
All gambling advertising/sponsorship should be banned from sport.
It should but doubt it would be banned completely due to the money they’re able to offer.
At least edit the AI images 😄
Haha I do try, it honestly takes a very long time so allow some room for error… also have just started making these videos so will improve over time for sure 👌
Subscribe if you hate spurs 😂 subscribed 👍 😂
Had to be done 🤣😂
