The pain of lost cultural ways is still in your eyes. I'm so sorry for the suffering of your ancestors. You are an amazing artist! I'm glad you are able to do what you love and do it so beautifully!

I too make my living from pottery.making earthenware for nearly 40years.still learning, ever changing.you have impressed me with your sensitivity, not only to the material but with your deep love to its cultural connections.in Japan you would be deemed a National Living Treasure.i can only offer my respect.potter to potter.from earth we come ,to earth we return. It's so good to know this knowledge isn't lost. That there are those such as yourself who value it and pass it on. Thank you❤

You sir are the kind of artist we should all strive to be. Your comment about seeing the pattern of the wind in the grass is what art..and life are about. I hope someday to visit you.

Do you have a website that people can buy your art work? I'm also interested in ordering the wood paddles you designed. Great awesome work you've done!
