- It's a NEW WORLD RECORD of 214.8 feet as Dan Runte reclaims the Guinness Record Monster Truck Long Jump in Bigfoot #18 at the O'Reilly Auto Parts Fall 4-Wheel Jamboree Nationals in Indianapolis.
Great Job Chandler/Bigfoot/Runte! So glad to see the record back where it belongs! Have met you guys many times and you are all class acts - nothing but respect for Team Bigfoot! Rock on! The original! The Best Ever! Bigfoot 4x4!!

glad to see that he got the record and he is okay, but i was expecting a bit more. maybe more agressive angle on the take off and same speed. still, that truck looks like it can go further and handle it like nothing, #18 is a sick truck
I remember seeing his first jump over the 727 jet with number 14 and how violent the landing was my first thought was he had to be sore for about a week maybe longer this one just looked like a normal Sunday drive for a monster truck driver. Congrats Dan and all the Bigfoot team and crew, hope you guys get back on with Monster Jam or at least set something up to where you guys get to come back to New Orleans I miss seeing Bigfoot bring down the house in the Superdome.

If they really want to maximize distance, the ramp has to be at a 45 degree angle. Although it would make for a harder landing on the front end.

Sorry to spoil it but bad habit just broke the record on September 10th with a jump of 237ft and 6 inches
@ John Carrillo, While jumping off of a mountain. Any truck can jump far using the ramp that Sylvester used, it was taller than his truck. Both jumps made by Bigfoot were made using small ramps, even the run up-to the ramp was shorter in Bigfoot. Sorry but Bad Habit has no chance of defeating Foot on the same ramp it used.

joey sylvester "bad habit" jump was alot better
Joey's jump was shit it took him 3-4 tries this was one shot and done.
