From what I know and have been told, before you do any kid of performance changes to the car, exhausts, tuning etc, you need to reset the ECU, so that the car can re-learn and adapt to the new gear. The car should be so much faster if you do that. Before installing the chip, just disconnect the battery for 30 minutes. I may be wrong about this, but I felt the difference doing so.
I e looked into the ECU tuning for my ford raptor, and my question to you, is how did you achieve 600+ nm? Most standard and reputable products can’t do much over 500nm. I don’t wanna call this BS, I want to know what engine parameters you’re changing so I can buy this product, otherwise I can’t trust it, sorry. Please help me out
I cannot wait to see lift-kit and wheels conversion including prices and TUV for Raptor. And how they correct speedometer for tyre conversion. Sadly I cannot find it on their site. Meanwhile I wait for confirmation on my GTS and XLR order.
We ship daily and you should get your order confirmation very soon. When you need any support please don't hessitate to contact us by email support@racechip.com. Our guys at the costumer support are working every day to answer your questions.
@@RaceChipChiptuning Had it installed during the weekend. And tested it, with a full tank of fuel. Glad I added the throttle module. And positively surprised that both powerchip and accelerator chip work through the same app. Raptor on itself is already impressive and intimidating. With chip in Race+ as well as throttle. And connected in 4 wheel drive. A wet road just takes away all intentions to play from other hot-hatches. And if they try. I will just jump-overtake on the first speed bump. Where they have to manage their brakes/shocks and tyres. Big smile! Not to forget that Raptor drives great on sand and gravel roads. So easy and controlled even over 120kph, but without speedcams. They wouldn't have a chance anyway with all the dust.
@@RaceChipChiptuning Next week I will test with a 2+ ton BBQ trailer. But eco mode will surely make things smoother. So nice touring and parking. Torque gain is very noticable. No need for petrol version with 90ct/liter diesel prices here in Spain.
We swapped the wheels to the manufacturer ones for the acceleration runs (since the offroad tyres would probably have a very negative effect on the times) but since the Raptor in the video has a lifted suspension as well, there's still the chance that a one with stock suspension would perform better.
The RaceChip cannot overrun the top speed limiter since it cannot affect the vehicle's ECU. Programmed limits from the manufacturer persist. Our goal is to increase the acceleration and pulling power in mid range.
We develop each Mapping for any car individually and than we test them on our dyno and on the street. For the acceleration times we always use Mapping 7.
Why would anyone replace the suspension on the Raptor? Surely more than half the point in the Raptor is the factory Fox Racing suspension and setup??? Those aftermarket alloy wheels look dreadful too!
The installation video for the Ford Ranger Raptor 2.0L Bi-Turbo Diesel is now online: ua-cam.com/video/VRAceX5U2jM/v-deo.html
I used an Sound metre device on my vehicle before race chip s and reading was 71db at idle in the engine bay afterwards on setting 3 read 68db 🤙🏻
Sneaky little tyre change for the speed test lol
After instaling the racechip my Ranger Raptor need 8.4 sec from 0-100 in race mode, stage 7 using traction 4x4 . You can feel a real great diference.

What is the consumption comparison ?
Any graphs there ?
This would also be interesting data.
That's why i choose to buy ranger raptor on this month, God's willing.

Can you tell me where you got the accessory on the bed of the truck, the bed rails and that piece right behind the cab?

This car does between 10 to 10.5 seconds stock 0-100km/hr. The reason yours is slower is because it has been lifted and has wider tyres
That intro LOL, great video guys. Keep it up, wonder what’s next?
I wonder if those fender flares will fit my 2020 Ranger in the US
Good 1.
What are the suspension details? Pls?
Awesome vid!
hi, I wonder if you tested in 3.2 ranger engine
What happens to the warranty? Will it void it? Thanks
Now Racechip Brazil Oficial.
Great Video! Keep up the good content!
Why are these pickups made with high rpm torque ? :(
Great Video guys...
Just ordered my kit today!
Can you do 1 video on the XLR pedal
wrong aftermarket whee/tire diameter? mine does 10´ flat all stock

And who’s gonna be driving around on top speed anyway
Out of curiosity what level of tune do you test the racechip on? E.g tune 5, 6 or 7
