So glad you are doing well and it appears a mild case. Covid went through our immediate family including children and grandchildren in January- it was mild - like a bad cold - in spite of recommended precautions. You do the best you can. So, guess what my husband’s take away was from all this? “Look at that wall! Is that all bourbon? I’d love a closer look at what he’s got there.” 🤣 He was trying to spot things he’s tried. A future vlog? Bourbon tour and reviews. 😂😂
I am so glad that u all are doing Yes this Covid is no joke I myself had it in the very beginning when is was a total nightmare I live in New York so u can just imagine it was crazy I was very sick at home for 10 days finally had to call a ambulance to take myself to a hospital and very there for 9 days Thank God I am here to talk about it I will pray for your family Love your video God Bless your family 😊
Hope everyone is feeling better. Been thinking about you guys. Hope Atleast a nice dinner out for the two of you is in the future. Get out of that house for your sanity!
Thank you for posting this. I think it’s important for people to see how someone can test positive and still be asymptomatic. Here’s to your recovery. ❤️
Sending all the good vibes to you guys!!!! Please keep us posted. I got it back in December the week I was set to get my booster and it was miserable. Like Steve said, I let me guard down a bit and never thought I would get it, especially after going to Disney several times and a cruise- I ended up getting it at a small gathering with friends (all were vaccinated). I will say that the 4 days I was in bed, I binged so many of your older videos. Kept my spirits high!
So glad to hear your family is on the mend. Thanks so much for taking the time to let us know how you are doing and glad at at least you care for one another without being separated! Take good care of each other and sending your family lots of good thoughts and blessings!
Oh no ! I hope you all feel better soon. I just had it about a month ago and was sick for a good solid two weeks until I felt “normal” again. But it sounds like you all have a more mild version. The fatigue for me is what held on the longest. Best wishes and speedy recoveries 🙂
Glad you all are on the mend, take care. It is so contagious that no matter how safe and precautions taken, so don’t beat yourself up with safely living life.
Oh it must have been so scary to have young Caleb to worry about while you guys weren’t feeling well either. I’ve watched you cancel his birthday party and give up holiday celebrations with your family so you could keep him safe. Hoping you all have a full and speedy recovery💛
Been there done that. I got it at WDW a few weeks ago, came home on a Friday night and tested negative on a home test, but we went for PCRs on Saturday. By Sunday midnight the results came in and I was positive but my husband was negative. I was SURE we got it when inside one of the restaurants at WDW (they have TOTALLY eliminated distanced seating...we were shoulder to shoulder at BOMA at DAK and that new Crêperie at Epcot). I isolated for 10 days even though I got a negative home test after 5 days, just to be safe. My husband never got it...it's so crazy random! Hang in there! And thank goodness the vaccine kept you out of the hospital!
HUGS, hope you're all feeling better soon!!! - and OMG, don't feel bad for letting Caleb play on the Switch. My boy is 13 and my girl is 9 - they love their Switch :) As Caleb gets older, there's Mario Party - which has a board game vibe, in video game form (it's so fun!!, there's 2 versions too!).
Sending prayers for continued healing and strength! It’s good to see your symptoms were mild. Thank you for sharing, lots of people have been very hush hush about their experiences. 🙏🏻🥰🙏🏻
There's really no rhyme or reason as to how you get it or what your symptoms will be. I had it at Christmas time and it felt like flu. I have an 80 year old coworker who had it at the beginning of January and she had the vomit/diarrhea thing for one day. Everyone that I know that has had it was taking all the precautions,so it is what it is. That being said,I'm so glad you all are doing well and I love seeing you all being such loving, protective parents to Caleb! Loving these videos!
I hope you feel better soon! My best friend and I had lunch at Hollywood Brown Derby today (with martini flight and champagne) and I was thinking of y’all. Thanks for the content because it’s really fun to watch. Best wishes to your family ❤️
It was in our house too. I am a nurse and have avoided this virus for 2 years and I am a bit frustrated that we let our guard down. We are all (myself, husband and 2 daughters) vaccinated and boosted. But we went to Disney and attended the Marathon weekend races. I ran the half and full and my husband did the Dopey challenge (ran all the races). We wore masks at all times except when running. None of us had symptoms, but we tested when we got home because we saw on FB that many at the races tested positive after getting home. My husband and youngest daughter tested positive (they had the Pfizer vaccine) and my oldest and I tested negative (we both had the Moderna vaccine). Not sure if the vaccine type made a difference but we tested many times. We never quarantined from each other because we had already been exposed. Luckily, we all felt fine which makes me so thankful that we are all vaccinated. At this time, my husband and youngest are testing negative again. Stay safe; I am glad you are not having serious symptoms.
This variant went through our family of 5 also. Every 5 days, someone else got sick. We were also told that if one is positive, the rest of you probably had it too. No need to test everyone, no meds, just quarantine and don't go out for 10 days. Good thing we're Costco hoarders. 🤣 Thankfully, symptoms were mild, not like the 1st Coved 19. We were also told, you will get a positive test for several months although you're not contagious. 🤷♀️ Take care...💖
So sorry you guys, I got my booster Friday and have been achy and tired, but hopefully won`t get Covid. You`ve been so careful too. Get better soon, at least Caleb seems to be recovering quickly! ❤
So glad you are feeling better and thanks for sharing your experience! I contracted Covid between Christmas and New Year here in the UK and I too had the awful gastric symptoms plus aching joints etc, not pleasant at all but compared to many other people I got off lightly 🙏 Stay safe and wishing you a speedy recovery🤞
Awe so sorry to hear that. I caught it about three weeks ago. I had symptoms but not too bad. I was so worried about giving it to my daughter cause I’m a single mom and I had to take care of her. Thank the lord she didn’t catch it. I tested negative three days later
Hope you guys feel better and get better soon…but thank you for giving insight as to what it might look like to be tested positive for Covid as vaccinated individuals!
Sending prayers your way (if that's okay). Love watching your videos. You've become like family, so this breaks my heart. Hope you recover quickly. So glad to hear that little Caleb is feeling better, bless his heart. Keep us posted!
Oh No! Hoping you two get better soon. Last Sunday my dad tested positive for COVID and he had no symptoms at all. Day 5, me and my mom went to get tested and we’re both negative. Me and my mom have both been isolating ourselves from my dad and we have been very careful by quarantining at home. Things are getting better for me and my family. Tomorrow’s our last day of quarantine so we’re excited about that. Anyway, sending prayers to both of you 🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️❤️
Awe so sorry to hear this. Sounds like you're doing all the right thing. My 7year old granddaught had it. Luckily they have a beach house about3 hours away. So they were able to social distance. My daughter and son- inlaw are both teachers. Everyone is fine now. Sending love and prayers!
So sorry to hear you all had Covid but glad that everyone seems to have come through safely. It seems you never can tell where you might pick it up from. We have been lucky with this current variant but caught it the first time around about a year ago and I still haven’t gotten my smell or taste back. For a foodie this is so sad🥺
I’m so sorry to hear that you caught this awful thing. I had it twice and the first time hit me hard. It was last year during Thanksgiving so it was a little depressing because I couldn’t be around my kids. I just caught it again a little over a month ago and wasn’t hit so hard this time. My 15 and 11 year old didn’t catch it either time thank God! It is a very scary situation and I am so glad that you are all feeling better. Sending love and prayers for you all!
Everyone will get it no matter if you have shot or not. Don't be scared and boost immunity system with zinc, vitamin c and d and drinks lots of water. Headache is the worse and thankfully you guys did not keep digestive issues. Take care and glad you guys are recovering.
My boss tested positive for covid and few days later, I had the same exact symptoms as mike and Caleb. Vomiting and diarrhea, very bad body aches and high fever. I took a covid test from my doctor and I was negative, so strange, because I was sure I had covid from how I felt.
Hey guys, welcome to the club. I got it Jan 2021 from of all places a hospital where I was masked up, wearing gloves, walked up 7 flights of stairs to avoid using an elevator and bam, it must have been in the air and gotten into my eyes. Ended up spreading it to my (now) 91 yr old mom and my sister (we live together). Luckily both my Mom and sister who were high risk received an infusion immediately which helped with them not getting worse. A lot of people don't take COVID seriously (I know you both definitely do take it seriously!) and with these other strains that are more contagious, you can be the most careful and it somehow can find you unfortunately. Sending prayers out to all of you for a speedy recovery. Stay strong!
Hi So sorry to hear you are sick. My daughter and I got it, not my husband. She recovered quickly and I have never been so sick. Two and a half weeks in bed with temp cough sleeping all the time. Intestinal issues and just an over all weakness feeling. We had just gotten home from our family vacation to Disney World. Best trip ever!!! Think we got it when in the airport coming home. We all were double masked all the time so go figure lol. I’m so much better now. Love and prayers to you all. Take care Kathy
Not surprised. You guys eat indoors everywhere. Are you really sure you know where you got it? Symptomatic infection normally occurs within 48 hrs for omicron.
Hi, sorry to hear your news, hope your symptoms aren't too bad. Our daughter who is 24 tested positive on Christmas morning! We had to cancel family coming for lunch etc...... Still, the meat was already cooking in the oven and all the veg and stuffing were prepared so I cooked everything and my sister came to collect their share of the meal and ate it at their house, just 5 mins drive away. So that turned out OK. Our daughter ate her lunch and every other meal in her bedroom, she only came out to use the bathroom, disinfecting every time she touched anything. Her dad and I wore masks if she came downstairs and we stayed away from each other and fortunately by doing all that we were OK. She is absolutely fine now and said her symptoms were a cough and sneezing. So, if we all be very careful and keep wearing the masks, we should beat this covid 19. Best wishes guys from me in the UK 🇬🇧 ❤
I hope you get well soon I also had it, my 1st symptom was on Thanksgiving Day, 9 days later I went to the hospital where I stayed for 15 days, came home on oxygen for 6 weeks and I'm still short of a breath, I now have a long covid. I had the original covid, Alpha.
I swear, the only people I know who have gotten covid are people who have been vaxxed and in most cases boosted too! I'm glad to hear that you only feel tired Steve. I feel bad for Caleb, sick little ones is not fun! Mike, I too had the SAME thing as you and chocked it up to bad food, since my tests all came back negative too! It's weird for sure! I was down for about 3 days, but it was never SUPER bad. Speedy recovery to you all! Hugs. Thanks for sharing!
My family and I were extremely responsible even when I was at the fire house here in New York I wore my mask and I wore it on every call. We did get the omicron variant last month and because my booster at that time was five months old I came down with a very severe head cold for five days but nothing in my chest. Because my family received their booster only 30 days before they felt a little tickle in the throat and nothing more they didn’t even get the sniffles. Speedy recovery.

Wishing you all a speedy recovery!! When everyone is feeling better, would love a tour of all Steve’s Disney collectibles in his office!
And a tour of that bourbon wall lol
Glad y’all are on the mend. It’s definitely scary when it’s going through your house. -S
Get better soon guys 💕💕
Glad you all are on the mend, take care. It is so contagious that no matter how safe and precautions taken, so don’t beat yourself up with safely living life.

Thank you for sharing. I'm glad to hear your family is better.
Bles you all. So glad you're all on the mend !!

I am late on watching this but I hope you guys are feeling well by now. Take care.

Sorry to hear, i had April 2020 and no symptoms. My nephew just had Dec 2021. Glad you’re on the mend. See ya soon 😊

Wow That bar is impressive. I want to come to your house for a party. Glad you are feeling ok

Fully Vaccinated people can still catch COVID, even the Omicron variant
I had the same symptoms and that was the original variant.
Welcome to the Covid club. 😎☃️We have overnight snow. I think the vaccines keep the symptoms lighter.
I hope you get well soon I also had it, my 1st symptom was on Thanksgiving Day, 9 days later I went to the hospital where I stayed for 15 days, came home on oxygen for 6 weeks and I'm still short of a breath, I now have a long covid.
I had the original covid, Alpha.
ugh. feel better guys.
