I’ve been watching your videos since 2020, when I was searching for effective study techniques during my masters. Great video, I love all this content where creators talk about making money, becoming successful, etc... I am currently doing some dropshipping as a side hustle (started with almost nothing), and it's paying really good last few months. I have north of 10k USD income each month :) Consistency and hard work (with a little bit of winnerzila of course) will always be a good path to success. I am still not making millions and millions but I will be there one day.

    My Meaningful Mission:
I want to help people improve their mental health and therefore live a better, happier life. Good luck with your travels. Thank you.

I am reading your book right now, and did the Wheel of life evalutation at your suggestion around the new year. It helped me see that I need goals and strategies in the areas of relationships and health. Workwise I'm doing better, which is how I connected with your work. I became a nurse at 53, and now, at 57, I am almost done with my Masters in eldercare and I intend to become a specialist with the mindset of an entrepreneur, showing my work (yes, I read all of Austin Kleon's work too, when they came out) and working with different projects to improve how we ease the end of life for our patients. Which is a real calling for me, one I found after years of being a disgruntled systems analyst trying to write a novel.... I am inspired by all your videos, but also every time a bit sad that you don't find medicine as fulfilling; I would love to work with a doctor like you! 🥰

Thank you for your video. I have watched your video since uni and now I’m at the workforce. Your videos have been helpful throughout the years. I personally think the topics - happiness , to find your full potential, fulfilment and goal settings can mean listening to our inner voice and act on it. I found your videos particularly useful as they bring consistent information around the topic from different angles. For me as a young adult, I often feel tempted to fall into the same loop of going back to a comfortable and boring position. But watching you video really helps me as a reminder to listen and act align with my core value. I also believe doing so will get us further in our career and fulfilment. Keep going !

I think this is one of your best videos or at least the best book review , the way you were honest and thoughtful of everything you said. Everything you said you meant it and were not afraid of it , it didn’t seem formulaic or written to avoid judgement people , you were truly portraying yourself. Great one. The length depends on you it’s your art. If you think it should be 5 mins long let it be and if it’s 50 that’s good too. Do it the way that makes you enjoy the process. I personally gained a lot of value so this 26 minutes was worth my time and wouldn’t have minded if it was longer.

"Grasp your mission securely but hold the mechanism loosely" is such an amazing quote. I do have a clear, meaningful mission, but once I set a "perfect" direction for myself to work towards the goal I find it very difficult to have to deviate from it. I needed everything to be perfectly aligned with my plan, but really, reality doesn't work like that. There will be uncertainties and unpredictables, and not everything is within my control. This quote serves as a great reminder that as long as you have a clear, meaningful mission, you'll get there eventually, there's no need to frantic. Love it :)

Love the long form vid, specifically because it is more podcast-like and I can fill more mundane tasks with education (“how can I make this fun?” 😉). What stood out to me most in this one is that so much advice is the same, it’s just packaged differently and that’s a GOOD thing; everyone speaks a different “language”, despite the fact that they’re speaking the same language, if you get my drift. Big life lessons like these need to come in different forms to be understood by different brains. Exercises can have the same essential objective, but have more or less of an effect depending on who does them.
I guess that can also contribute to us getting a bit obsessed with productivity/success content, too, though, because consuming it makes us feel productive/successful (essentially “fake” productivity/success), which, in turn, causes us to pay less attention to what’s being said, so we don’t actually recognise that the same essential messages are being sent. It goes over our head because we like the short term pleasure of feeling sophisticated over the long term gain of actually doing the work (calling myself out here, too!). Aaaaanyway, thanks for the content, I promise I’ll act on it 😁

Hey Ali! I absolutely LOVED this style! I could listen to your voice for ever. I put my AirPods in and listen to you when I need motivation to tidy my house and put tidy ‘systems’ in place. The essential thing you provide is hope. And that is what is missing when I look around at an untidy house and lack the motivation to tidy: we feel hopeless. This longer style video was great to accompany me long enough to get one room sorted 🤣 loved the mellow relaxing music too. Remember long videos talking about productivity helps people while they are trying to do productive things (tidying/sorting/planning etc)

Yes, loving the new approach. I feels when you do book reviews you try to summarize what you read by not only sharing everything you will take away from the book but also what others can take away from the book as well. This is helpful because a broader audience is more likely to want to read it than only those who are in your current situation.

I love the longer format videos! I was actually taking notes of all the questions, I saved them in my digital journal, and I messaged them to my partner (who was not here) so that he can do these exercises as well. I also loved that you showed quotes from the book, I'd probably take notes of some quotes as well in future videos. Thank you!

    Great video Ali! ^^
I really liked this long video. It's obvious that you really found the book useful and you broke it down into simple, chunks. I kept pausing to take notes and answer the prompts, so took much longer to get through, but it's so useful! I like the shorter, concise videos too though as sometimes we just want something quick to watch. perhaps you could have a mix of the two? Make longer videos for the books you rate really highly or think the points deserve more time, then shorter ones for others... or maybe make some UA-cam shorts from the points made for the short form fans. You could make a short for each section of this video.

One of my most favorite videos you’ve put out, Ali! Really enjoying the book thus far! Listening on Spotify over the past few days but I’ll definitely have to pick up the hard copy sooner than later. So many gems!

I thoroughly enjoyed the fact that this type of video was longer than usual. It's nice to get a deeper look at a book; as a big fan of the podcast, naturally I find myself enjoying the longer content. I do find this gives me more of an idea of whether I would enjoy reading the book myself as well as more detail on the actionable parts of the book. The shorter type content might suit other platforms in the type of content you've been posting more lately. Love your work.

I thoroughly enjoy the extended content. It gives off a podcast-like vibe, and your guidance through exercises has significantly enhanced my comprehension and satisfaction with the video. Your content is excellent, and I plan to apply your suggestions to make this year the best of my life. Thank you!

I love when you shared that one of the questions you caught yourself asking recently is "How can I get them to like me?" - it feels very relatable and I appreciate the vulnerability, because I catch myself doing that too. I also liked that you shared what your personal mission is, cus it really makes me understand why you create the content that you create. I love all of your videos and have watched you for many years but this was the first one I felt called to comment on. Please make more videos like this where you share more of your personal thoughts, as much as you're comfortable with. ❤

Hey ali, you have really changed my life for the best in many ways, from studying, to knowing what missions to take all the way up to relationships and becoming a better human. Really liked this video, instigated me to rethink some things that i wasn’t paying as much attention as i should. 26 min that flew by. Longer videos that feel more intimate and feel like a conversation are always a win.

I enjoyed the change. I like how in-depth you were about each book and the fact that you shared your own thoughts and experiences. I see how well you connect with books like this and see you enjoy it, which makes for a fun watch.
I also just love doing journal prompts and writing my thoughts down so thank you for the questions afterward.
    Overall 100%

I am a very recent subscriber. I discovered you through your appearance on High Performance Podcast. What struck me was the positivity that you exude. It’s contagious. You also provide simple practical steps on how to actually put these concepts in place in your life. Others talk very airy fairy and I’m left wondering how do I do this??
I like both formats. Each has their place. 👏🏻

Ali, I enjoyed this format a lot. The reason is the same as in why it is better to read books versus to just read the quick summaries. New ideas map on the brain much better when they come together with emotions, examples and just discussions overall. Thanks for doing this! ❤

The long videos are great! I can truly become engrossed into the content and engage with it. I spent about an hour and a bit writing my responses to all of the questions and now I‘m about to create a summary to hang on my wall. It truly felt like a conversation where I was taking action to improve my life with a friend. Thank you very much.

Hey Ali! I was scared of the length first, but loved this video. Often paused to take pictures of the questions and quotes. Also did the GPA, which made me realize once more that I should take care of my body and should start exercising regularly. Soon i'm gonna write a new entry into my journey and ask myself a lot of the questions at hand. I really appreciate your work!

Thanks Ali, I think the format is great, love when you give advice but mix it with your personal experience, the honesty of the video, it feels really good and deep. Length is actually perfect. When a video is too long I put it in hold for later so this made me watch it as soon as I saw it. Very practical advise . Thanks again

Longer format was really special! Please keep doing book summaries this way. I liked the summaries before, but it felt like getting a quick download of main points without much context - but something about the way you gave personal examples from the heart, explained the WHY behind the takeaways, sprinkled with quotes and context, made each of the exercises and takeaways really sink in below the skin for me. This was the first book summary video where I actually felt compelled to take a couple hours to pause, do the journaling work, and return to the video.

I love this new format - it's authentic and gives me a direction on how to approach and internalise the book. For example, I am very moved by your obituary, and it gives me an inspiration to write mine. I am a fan of Lewis Howes but when I first read his book, I was like, gosh, how am I going to draft my obituary? Reading those obituaries on New Nork Times featuring famous people is no help.
In brief, I appreciate the way you highlight your key takeaways from the book and your own reflections. Therefore, the length of the video is less a concern - as long as it's authentic, which is totally the case here.
    Thank you for this video!

What started off as wishful thinking as I watched your videos while cleaning has now turned into thoughtful insights, that have unlocked trains of thought I never imagined. I am currently a college student, figuring out who I am and what I wanna do, but I know I want to make a huge, positive impact on the world.
