It’s totally normal for your body to release stress hormones in the morning. It’s actually part of a healthy body. It’s because we need the stress hormones to wake up in the morning so it’s part of our clever body anatomy otherwise we would never wake up haha. The best thing you can do to not aggravate them is the morning is to avoid drinking caffeine in the morning. Try an afternoon coffee instead when your stress hormones aren’t as active. Something I learnt from my nutritionist and it works. I have PCOS which means my stress hormones go wild often, but I try and regulate them naturally and not aggravating them before taking supplements as sometimes supplements can actually be an additional stressor for our bodies. I was taking vitamins and supplements from a recommendation by my first nutritionist and it made me feel more stressed! Then I had a second nutritionist who has taught me to be kinder and more forgiving to my body and not aggravate it. Actually, I have learnt that just relaxing and not being obsessive is the best way destressor. I just do what intuitively feels right, if I want to eat something, I eat it, if I want to exercise, I exercise, if I want to relax, I relax, I just try and listen to my body and not fight it in to doing things it doesn’t want to. Hey ! For your high chortisol in the morning, if you are sensible to stress I recommend you to not drink caffeine first thing and waiting 60 min. Or you can replace by deca because I know that some people are more sensitive to caffeine 😊 have a beautiful day ❤

Hi Olivia. I spend my summers in the same town you're in and I just wanted to suggest a super fun but a bit gnarly hike for you. We just did Scotchman Peak today up near Sand Point today. It's just so magical and gorgeous and you get to see white mountain goats at the top! I took my dogs but I recommend taking a leash to put on at the top where the mountain goats are so your dog doesn't try to chase the goats. I'm sure they could do some damage to a dog if they feel threatened. Hope you get a chance to experience it!
