Electric vehicles were not taken seriously back then, now every brand is investing in the technology. Kia/Hyundai has advanced significantly, but Tesla changed the car world.

We say one at the Cleveland auto show. Genuinely one of the best looking and feeling vehicles there. The interiors on all the KIA’s and Hiundai’s were incredibly impressive. The palisade and ev9 were my favorite!

So, I've been hearing that EV sales are doing just fine, but that there has been a lull in the overall new car market. Besides, the charge speed is far more important that overall range. Most people aren't going to be driving 300+ miles in one go. As long as you can charge back to full in a reasonable amount of time, it's fine.
Wait til you see the Li Auto Mega. It's the same price (in China) has 550 HP, more range, has more luxury features, back seat theater system, measures quieter than a Maybach S Class, and charges from 10 to 80% in 11 minutes. That's 480 kW sustained charging. Can't wait until the next generation of EV technology breaks through the trade barriers and gets into the US.

I got to check out this car and a couple of other key is vehicles at the LA auto show. Out of all the EV’s I got to drive the Kia EV6 probably was my favorite. Kia is really bringing their A game.
Maybe less bells and whistles and a little more reliability. I understand the brand trying to better themselves but quality is key now that things are getting so expensive.
The US pricing is strange. For those prices you can get EVs/PHEVs with more vertical space and more features. There are probably enough blind Toyota loyalists to sustain them, if the multi-year waitlist for the RAV4 Prime taught us nothing else 😅

The US pricing is strange. For those prices you can get EVs/PHEVs with more vertical space and more features. There are probably enough blind Toyota loyalists to sustain them, if the multi-year waitlist for the RAV4 Prime taught us nothing else 😅
