The guillotine file alone has all the potential for a season 2! They didn’t extend a week of shooting for nothing! PDnim and writer nim felt the love and demand from the audience - and I’m sure they’ll consider a season 2! 🥰
But either way, SO BLOODY satisfied with how they tied things up except for best boy Hanseo but then again someone somewhere had to get hurt to keep it realistic.

From the point of view of the story as a whole, the ending was right. Vincenzo is still a villain but he has accepted himself. He's a bit like Bruce Wayne. Cleans up garbage because not every bad person will get justice. He doesn't believe in her, and he is right about that. For many people, however, it is the last hope for help. The last straw. He lives in gray but is not alone. He has a family and a woman. From a Chayenzo's point of view, it must have ended like this. He has his life as a villain, lives in black and she lives as a lawyer, but together they are one soul and will reunite when the obstacles pass. Vincenzo established a second home. It shows that in all the evil that surrounds us there is room for a love that was born so suddenly and is able to survive everything.
I dont think there needs to be a season 2 but definitely a special episode where we can see Vincenzo reunite with the Geumga Plaza tenants and see VinCha together in Malta 😭 please

As much as I’d like more content I couldn’t agree more. The ending was, in itself, perfectly fitted. We got the couple and the revenge. And both were very satisfying too. Plus, it’s not like there was a cliffhanger. Sometimes second seasons can get diminish that enjoyment we felt initially. Nevertheless I’ll miss the show.
exactly!. No need for S2, everything was satisfying, the confession and even the kissing scene. Vin has his own life and mafia family to take care of, as for that, Chayoung understands it all as well, she can just visit his man since he has her own room prepared by him.

I was really hoping for an open ending for a possible season 2 but I lost my hopes😩 I loved everything about the end but I just wished that the most torture would have gone to the crazy Zumba lawyer and not much on Jun woo. I know some of y’all are gonna say that he was really bad and deserved to die but I was sad seeing him suffer BC I love the actor😂 I saw the other lady as the biggest monster and he was in second place. I wish they gave a scene where she visited him at his private island and another scene on him holding his goddaughter💛 I will for sure rewatch this over and over again. Kdramas have to really step up there game now bc I don’t think they can beat this one. Not just the story but the chemistry between the characters and of course our beloved Song Joon Ki💛💛💛

In the end Vincenzo is what his past has made him and although he may have feelings for her I think he will always have problems expressing himself. Add to that given his lifestyle I think he is aware that she might end up like some of the others in this show. So even with the kiss on his part there was a sort of reserved distance. It was only when she kissed back did he give a little. As for a season 2 I think there has been closure for the series unless the writers and directors pursue the mafia/Malta angle with a new story line.

Это грустно, за последний год это лучшая дорама, которую я видела.
Я, безусловно, не могу 100% утверждать, что 2 сезона не будет, но, полагаясь на свой опыт просмотра дорам( может, уже и 200 тайтлов есть) историю героев в практически любой дораме успевают рассказать за 1 сезон, и в этой дораме нам все было рассказано. Остается только ждать новую дораму с Сон Джун Ки...
Я смотрела ее онгоингом 2 месяца и чувство, будто у меня ногу оттяпали. Или руку. В общем, я скучаю по дораме((( Все, словила шизу...

The thing about him being a mafia (a boss on top of that) is that his family comes first- in deathbed or in riches, he has a big responsibility on his hand. If he grows more heart, he'll be on the losing side- yes that's his fate. CY has always been a scale of whether justice or his principle shall prevail but in the end, he is still the villain. That's it, this aint love story.
