@@dustinallenphoto"modding a cheaper car" Yeah go ahead, you should know doing track day isn't that cheap ....better invest in a gaming set Simulator instead..
Tremendous immersion and idea to put the Hyundai at home, if it were seen with several monitors like in the edition it would be top. It's all a matter of putting money into a project like this for more details. The functional instrument panel and the real steering wheel of the car are a success. The multi-camera shots and editing are amazing. How well you have set up your cockpit. The green hell in the wet looks complicated to master. This video is very good for those who want to do something similar, I really liked the video. Thanks for showing it. Like and sub. Enjoy it. Regards my friend.

absolutely stunning!!! i can only imagine what this dude has to go through if and when he has a hardware/ wiring issue 😞 i seen so really crazy setups but there's something extra special about this one - very tastefully done!
That is a great sim setup you have so far, looking forward and interested in seeing the near finished project and a video breakdown of how you built it
In real life, you leave from the Touristenfahrten parking lot, and you're supposed to slow down at the end of your lap when you pass under the gantry, and then exit back into the Touristenfahrten parking lot, so there is no driving down the long straightaway at speed. When we were there, we drove straight through the parking lot out onto the streets after every lap, to cool our brakes down by driving at low speeds without stopping for a few minutes, before returning to the Touristenfahrten parking lot to get ready for our next lap. If you stop right after your lap, you can warp your brake rotors.
Holy shizbot my man!!! Freaking all jelly and shit over here brother. Mantastical sim rig my man! Thank you for keeping the dream alive my brother. ..... and a Merry freakin' Christmas to you my good sir. ;-)
well done sir, a super slick build and looks like a very nice place to be in. I'm curious about all the technical workarounds involved in the conversion, making it work together looks like so much fun!
All that's left is the Engine Simulator. Probably something like getting the Controller information of the Throttle, Idle, Accelerate and Reverse and the Gear to the Motor like a real car.
So sweet man. It would be cool if the badging of the sterling could digitally change depending on what make of car you are driving. Or just magically switch them out manually. I don’t know but that set up is next level. Nice job.
Ok, now have ar glasses that can put overlays inside the car to kind of change the interior and you'd have a god tier rig. Regardless, I think We're all super jealous!!! Very nice!!
This setup is beyond badass and I got to admit that you ain't no rookie of a driver because your reflex, braking and cornering is very good, it's the AI here that's the majority of the problem, wish you fun and luck improving though!! 💖
hahahaha you can't be serious, right? I haven't seen much worse driving than this. He's plowing in every corner and completely clueless of how to maintain grip. He also took multiple seconds to respond to very apparent weight shift that was causing the back to start rotating. If he hadn't had to slow down for the car ahead, he would've crashed.
This is what I was talking about, I recently wrote you a long comment, this is what I meant, well done, you inspire me a lot, well done bro. Ето за това говорех ,скоро ти писах един дълъг коментар ,за това имах предвид ,браво ,много ме надъхваш ,много ,браво бро.
The big screen is fake. The idea is cool, it's a shame the image in the video isn't projected that way in the room. There is a mask in the video that was only added during editing. But it would be cool.
This doesn't make sense because he just has the ultra wide sitting in front of his windshield then all the sudden when it turns on it surrounds all the windows however there is no screens to be seen in those areas.
if you could utilize the ust style projector lenses for screens on the windows that would probably provide a fairly immersive experience even with just a monitor its probably pretty fun looks sweet cool project
Excellent. It's about as real as its going to get. Also like the guitars hanging up on the wall. Koryan, would you mind if I use approx 2:30 of this video on my channel? I would provide a credit to you as the content creator.
a curved projected screen could be good either mounted on the wall with projectors on the roof or an opaque plastic windshield with a projector mounted on the wall with image warping to project on to it. awesome work btw
Does it have force feedback? Watching the video it appears to me that most of the errors with missing the apex, running off and having to constantly make small corrections could be lack of "feeling" the car and road. If it does, then perhaps the controls are far too sensitive. I understand it is still under development. Perhaps that is on the wish list? Just my observation. I have an old 1990s Sidewinder Force feedback wheel and pedals. But even with that old thing I can feel when the tires are loosing traction, feel the differences in the road surfaces and can make corrections from feel rather than waiting for a visual clue, which is far too late by then and you end up over correcting. Love the setup.
If i had this, i would not leave this room
He is so lucky
haha same
I would probably just put my time into modding a cheaper car and do it irl..
Same

I've had the idea to do this since I was a child, and it makes me happy someone finally did it
Yes...
it is edited lok again
But he didn’t, read the description
This reminds me of the Jesse Pinkman Go-Kart scene, it just turns around and he has a blank stare while he's gripping around corners at 143 mph
143mph gokart?!

Hyundai Tiburon cut into thirds connected to racing set with assetto corsa, one of best, coolest sims evr
shame he had to green screen in the actual effect. But still, the fact he has a cockpit in his living room is definite flex
if he can somehow make it so the windows of the car are screens projecting the game all around..this would be epic.
There is a monitor set up on back window so not sure it's green screen
I know i wasn't the only one... Thanks for your comment
Most people didn't read the description. Can't wait to see a simulation setup where it actually looks like that for the player.
You don't have to read, it shows how it actually looks in the beginning

That awesome. Talking about immersed AF. Great work. And I mean work. From a mechanics point of view.
They should have one of these at every bar for the people who want to drink and drive
Thats Genius LOL

damn some people come up with crazy setups. this looks LEGIT!
Perfectly still with no feeling of being in a moving vehicle.
Heck of a setup for someone with my attention span.
In 2 days time, I'd start playing something else.
That is the best Sim setup i've seen yet.. Time and effort went into that shit and it shows.. Epic job man.. WOW.
How did the monitor suddenly get so big? It didn't even fill up the windshield in the beginning.
Green screen editing
Damn, that's a whole new level of immersion, imagine playing iRacing this way
I’m speechless. Now this is car sim!

just missing that emotion...

From the camera standpoint, FOV seems off. Too flat and wide/stretched. Is it correct for the driver?
what you see in the video is not the actual screen, he fitted it to the windshield later in edit. for entertoyment purposes I think it works 100%!
