When I read the vid title I was up for the challange, but it turns out I weren't aware of 4 of the models, so good vid!
When the first time I saw the Ferrari 408 4RM now I see how the Honda/Acura "NSX's got it's design.
I think it looks a lot like the first gen toyota mr2

Zender fact 4 is still so "fresh". Amazingly beautifully engineered in terms of equilibrium in design proportions ❤. Ghawd this list took me to a long forgotten memoirs 😂 lobe it.

Imagine the stopped coming with all this new crap say somewhere in the early 2000 and purely focused on improving reliability. We would have still had fun cars that would last forever.

The Zender Fact 4 as a Spider is a blast!! Wow! How could this be, that this awesome car with that outstanding design + performance wasn´t a big hit?!
Only two of those are cars I didn't know exist... UA-cam has really filled the gaps in my rare car knowledge. Although, fair play because I usually know of all the cars on these "you didn't know" lists.
I'm only an amateur "car guy" compared to some of my friends, but thanks to my one buddy I read every car & driver and road & track magazine released in the 80s, so this was more of an "Oh yeah!" video than a "Never heard of it" video! Still, I don't specifically remember a couple of these - including the 924. I actually dated a girl briefly in the mid 80s whos dad had a 924 - but it wasn't this one (Canadian model). On an unrelated note, I dated another girls whos dad had a Bricklin and another whos dad had a Ferrari 308 (not quite super cars, but all pretty cool imho!). You'd think I chose these girls because of the cars, but honestly they were all hot and I only knew about one of the cars before I dated the girl. Never got a ride in the Ferrari, though (which sucked because I loved Magnum PI).
I didn't know an American pizza restaurant made cars in the 80s. Man cocaine is a helluva drug.
This is a very informative production sir , and the cars selected are some of my favourite's from the 80's. Loving the : Lister , Tvr , 924 gtr.....The Sbarro look's crazy as f even today.
The 450 SEAC has a Kevlar body, NOT fibreglass.
The AC in SEAC stands for Aramid Construction.

Good selection, unfortunately i am of the age where i remember most of these from the car magazines. Always loved the Lister LeMans especially as you could order it with a 7L V12 with twin superchargers and manual transmission!
Sparro made both a VW Golf Mk1 fitted with a 911 turbo engine and a Mk2 with the 928 V8, made as a hatter!

The TVR SEAC were all carbon body, not fibreglass
SEAC's were not constructed from Carbon fibre.the 'AC' designates aramid construction,( nylon/polymers) meaning that they are basically plastic.

Ahh the '80s; the 924 Carrera GTR was THE one car that I wish had been built in numbers for the road but alas, Porsche had other ideas...and also not a lot of budget to work with at the time. Well at least the world got the 944 and its offspring as an outgrowth from the program.

man, that challenge 3 LOOKS sooo cool and good looking... then you showed that white one.. and holy hell that was ugly lol and thats coming from someone who loves white cars, but white was not the color for this. and that first jag... boy o boy thats a good looking body. and that 944 is low key a car i would remake if i could afford it, but that will be never but at least it can live in my dreams rent free

The reason most of these cars aren't remembered is because they look ridiculous.
These cars are all ugly. Most have cheap-looking body kits.

Zender Fact 4 from behind looks like AUDI S1 Group B monster not like ferrari
defiantly some very unappealing designs back in the day compared to now... however the Porsche seemed to be a large improvement from the Stock units - and you can see the evolution of the 944 in the DNA - Im surprised the Gamballa series did not make it with a 930 ... or a Vector .. Someone call Clarkston !!
The Porsche was a race car, never designed for general road use, also homologated as a gp4 then a b race and rally car
