Hey shing02, just want to say that your music saved my life and has helped me through very hard times. Peace and love from California, and thank you for the music. I don’t know if you’ll see this, rest in peace nujabes
crazy how this video was from 03 and the final track wasnt released until 2015. would love to hear the story behind it
oh my goodness.....its been some time but man.....Shing02 killed it on here......
id kick a flow to this (most definitely a song) and just vibe out......
this is some real music.......REAL......
so excited for Perfect Circle sounds so good
A sign of true musicianship! When you understand music so well you can take an idea such as the faderboard (used as a keyboard), bring it to life, and in that process take that idea to the next level.
Such a great beat. And Shing has some serious skill with that Faderboard. He did design it, after all.
its been 12 years since you commented.

Very skilfully played
Impressive
I've never seen anything like this before. Brilliant is the only word i have for it.
PERFECT CIRCLE
To all those people saying you could do this on a keboard - yes, of course you could, but look at that man's hand/wrist control! It's clearly a product from a DJ-brand that is aimed at DJs who need to be doing something showy with their hands - ie the equivalent of scratching, without limiting themselves to the record as the sample source (not everyone can afford a Vestax Vinyl Cutting Machine either, and the Faderboard is way cooler than the ubiquitous CDJ).
Wow that's one way to do it! Beautiful!
definately something I would buy :D
u really deserved more hype than this shing02
Shit is hard ... props to Shing02 for innovation ...
dope.
So much more physical work than a conventional keyboard, without any clear advantages....at least when used in this conventional manner....innovative design used in a conventional way here
hey brad the idea is that a fader is a switch that has its own percussive techniques. we got the same feedback when it came out 20 years ago! lol
Remember these coming out but£500 was an insane amount of cash to me then, they go for crazy prices now 🤦🏻♀
skills...
Sensei Shing02
Instrumental my brother, please
anybody know the title of the track that is being played? I'm aware I may be going out on a limb asking, but it's beautiful and there maybe a high quality version of it somewhere. It's all good anyways, wish I could use this faderboard one day. Looks awesome and real fun to use. Although you may need the wrists of a god to use it lol
it's "Perfect Circle" by Nujabes
+Shing02 ! Thank you man! I've always loved this demo and now I'm even more pumped to hear the vinyl now that I know what to look for. You and Nujabes made some real magic over the years. Peace!
Exactly wat does it do....that shits interesting....
I bet the Masked Skratcher would love the Faderboard. hahaha Maybe he can modify it and have 10 turntable inputs! haha
What would keep me from buying this is the thought of having to replace 10 faders! Maybe if one day they were contactless it would be interesting and I also heard they didn't control velocity? That's a major minus.
Yo Shingo, do you have any proper audio files using the fader board?
hip hop
So this is what being a DJ is like...
T-shirt ? please : )
迷機だがシンゴは流石扱い巧いな
発案者だけある
anybody know the beat playing in the back?
Perfect circle
Do you have an Mp3 for this song? or Album?
cause it looks cooler with faders
not everyone can afford both a Moog and an mpc, let alone ONE of them. vestax obviously tries a hybrid here...
man this sounds cool, but what the heck is that thing?

Why did you have to spoil Perfect Circle for us
Osado hi, Shing02 didn't spoil anything friend. It was a piece the two worked on in the mid 2000s I believe, but it was never officially released then
Jaime Garcia 😐
I have to ask......why couldnt you just get a piano player to do that?
