Finn Russels against England in 2017 was the best i've ever seen. Off the left hand, deep inside his own half, you can't even see Jones in shot when he throws it. Only Finn Russell would have the balls to even try that from there
The low key "stop it" by Ugo in the first clip says it all about everything we saw. But, Mr Forde, please don't listen to him and continue with the prime content we all enjoy! p.s. If someone has heard the term "chistera" but doesn't know what it means, just pay attention to Dupont in this video.
I remember when I visited my grandmother in our small town, she dropped some serious wisdom on me. She said “Grandson, one day some people will waste their time reading your comment.” Today is that day.
Some beautiful passes here. My favourite being the Hugo Reus behind the back pass against Spain. The Finn Russell one looked slightly forward, would rugby benefit from a semi automated line system in the TMO for forward passes? Just a quick review to ensure the pass isn't forward.
No because when the ball travels forward it's not automatically a forward pass, it depends on the movement of the hands of the passer. Long passes at speed will always travel forward because of momentum but they're still backwards relatively to the ball carrier.
It's not on this video, but as another Welshman, Andrew, I reluctantly have to give credit to Owen Farrell, a few years ago, for his pass in Cardiff to, I think, Daly, going right to left at speed right into his hands which enabled him to get on the outside of Cuthbert into the bottom left hand corner. As i say, it is most reluctant, but credit where credit's due!
OF had a bullet flat pass that put people into space. Despite the anti hype he was a pretty good player apart from the occasional errrr discipline problem
@@Karma-qt4ji Yep - he has been hard to like. I was at Cardiff with the male voice choir in 2013 (which Wales won 30-3) and was watching Farrell, on the halfway line, punt the ball to Lancaster (coach at the time) who was standing close to the try line by the Dragon's Mouth tunnel. In maybe 5 out of 6 kicks Lancaster didn't have to move at all. Not an inch. Fortunately, with many of the England side not having played there before and the best ever rendition of My Hen Vlad Fy Nhadau ever (with the roof closed), you could sense many of the England players nerves, and the skill set I saw from Farrell (which I thought ominous) never came to pass! Fortunately!
That Dupont pass at 4:50 is so quick it legitimately looks like sleight of hand
Another cracking video mate - you've watched a power of rugby in 2024!

I agree, but it was 2018
@mema0005 that's a fair point. Was the 2017/18 season though, so I was kinda right. Remember we put 50 on Australia that Autumn aswell

Next time you go to your small town, please tell your grandma, and be thorough with the details, about how you wasted your time reading this comment.
big shout to grandma ❤
Love seeing an Andrew Forde notification 😊
But no RG Snyman??
1:40 so forward.
Love this

Absolutely no one will care if you don't put any in
I hope he continues to do it to annoy you specifically.

Realy good, but NOW seems out of place as a backing track, even at low level.
now ?
Sua’alli is overrated. Ikitau’s was the pass of the year

@@johnf991 great pass I agree but this is a video of passes in 2024 hence why it’s not included! I have included it in other videos 👌🏻

@johnf991 hahaha yes I agree. I'm not English but as a player I had some respect for him.
