Hi Guys, I just got my tub and the pump button docent work? what do I do?
In sl or ec mode the pump is making a little al bit of noise, can i put the pump off? in the timeiam not using the Jacuzzi??
Just received my new Spa and the programming manuals don’t match what is on the Spa. I cannot program the Spa. The control panel is a Balboa Model VS501Z. The top controller has 4 button, 2 on each side of the display window. One side says pump 1 the other is pump 1. Other side has one button for temp up and down, other button is the light button. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I just installed a new pump for my Tuff Spa.. it has a Balboa O/L Panel Balboa Mini Value E3 (11219)
It powers on ok with a code Pr prime.
The pump and heat will not turn off.
I ran it for 5 hours and turned off the breaker.
I want to know if there is a process to reset the controls. Before I purchase a new system control.
Please with any help.

When it's cold outside can I use it in standard mode with jets to low power for the water to heat up faster with the cover on?

hi can you tell me what the best setting is to ensure that I can get into the tub when I want, heated it up and then put it on EC mode and it was down to 30 so not able to use, what is the cheapest way to run it - which mode - we only go in twice a week but like it to be 36 degrees when we do - thanks
The best thing to do is leave it in EC mode and set the filter periods around the time you're going to be using the hot tub so it will be at the correct temperature. An example would be if you're going to be using the tub at 7pm you could have it filter from 5pm-7pm and when you use the hot tub it will be at the temperature you want, the just put it into standard mode when you're using it.

Hi when I press cool and then light button it doesn’t come up with any codes it just turns the lights on what do I do just want to put it in an eco-mode? The other issue is it keeps turning on and won’t turn off for like half an hour and it’s quite regular how do I sought this? thank you

I put it on f4 @10am and it was still at 6:30pm. I thought f4 was for pump timer shouldn't it go off 4 hours later?? Any help will be appreciated thanks

I bought a pre owned hot tub. It kept kicking out the breaker. Electrician diagnosed bad heater. Replaced heater. Now HH code comes up and the tub will not operate. The water is cold.

Poorly designed jets. Does your jet configuration have a jet for shoulders and small-of-the-back?
I have the same question, mine seem to be always on...
Buttons are unresponsive and it’s just throwing random temperature numbers. What does that mean? Is the control panel broken or something else?

I still don’t understand what “duration” is. Can someone explain it? I know it’s 12 hours between cycles. Is duration adjusting time between cycles, the run time of the cycles? Something else entirely? I’ve read everything I can find and I haven’t come across any explanation that makes sense to me. Thank you.
I believe that Duration is how long the pump will run. For exanple if it is set on 4 then the pump will run for 4 hours.

@@Theundisputedtruth I don’t think it’s related to heating the tub. It’s just how long it runs the pump daily to circulate the water.
@sandiegodan but circulation is what causes the it to heat and run through the heating element no circulation no heat , and duration setting set will base the heat and setting based on that time as well to keep it at temp
No fault. But its brand new and only been on for 2 hours. I've put the cover on now and going to leave it overnight. I just found it odd that it has been fixed on 25 and not moved
It should heat up over night, but if it doesn't let us know and we can see how we can help you.

Balboa sux. My 4 button control is totally different. To change modes, I push button 4, (on right) , then 3 then 4. I didn’t learn this from the poorly written balboa manual, or the tech who replace the control unit ($700+). He wasn’t sure how to change modes & gave me bad instructions. After mucho fiddle fart, I finally figured out how to set modes & temp.
Now my heat element needs replacing. Balboa sux.

No fault codes. Just the default temp screen which is 25c.
The spa is new and only been on for 2-3 ours. Am i worrying for nothing, does it usually take many ours to heat up. The manual is useless.

The water would usually take a few hours to heat up so by tomorrow it should be warmer

I had it set to st, but should I set it too SL overnight?
hi Mark keep it in standard mode (ST) until it reaches temperature . if the hot tub is outdoors it can take a many hours to reach temperature especially when its a cold climate and outdoors, also if the hot tub has many litres.
The jets are poorly designed. Can't get a good grip on them as they are smooth and wet.
