I'm seeing the wisdom in "I'm broke thing may just be an act", he has the money to pay his bills, and he just wants more. It could just be he worded it incredibly poorly; but Tev did have a point about "I have the money to pay my bills in a few weeks".

Yeah Heavy Rain glitched out a couple times in his playthrough, in this chapter he couldn't move at all (You are supposed to be able to move during the split scene with Paco IIRC) or the camera locks up on top of the audio completely fucking up until he eventually decides to reset his PS3. I'm sorta thinking of remaking my TIHYDP of Heavy Rain which was a ~4 hour slog (It was my first one after all, not to mention of a interactive movie).
When I was 15 I was playing megaman anniversary collection for the GameCube and got so pissed at ice man's stage that I threw my controller to the wall and smashed the casing in half. I taped it back together and I still own it to this day but I never throw my controllers like that any more. It was an awesome controller too. I got it with my GameCube, it was a clear plastic controller with a bright red LED around it and the led still works
I think Phil has some serious temper/rage/anger-mgmt problems. Just saying, and he should probably get some therapy for it soon. On that note, I'll finish off with "I can't pull off a basic cambo!"
Haven't watched the video yet, just wanted to tell you guys I enjoy the multi-part format. The 3 hour long videos are nice too, but the several shorter videos are a refreshing change of pace. And you guys still get more views than DSP. Just goes to show quality matters.
