The Y Module's Talent 2 buff is exactly what he wants to further improve upon his "two-fast-redeploys-in-one" niche, so here's to hoping his X Module does something to help his damage. Considering Talent 1 controls the clone's statline, I'm hoping for something like: Phantom and his Clone gain 30% increased ATK, DEF, and Max HP when on the field simultaneously. If that's too much for them, they can just outright copy Texalter's talent and have both Phantom and Clone's skills reset one time upon killing an enemy. Either choice would prevent our boi form being as washed-up as he's looking right now.
Or maybe deal extra art damage while skill on (including the clone) 30%atk kinda nothing since he already have ton +%atk from s2 and s3 activate immidiately the moment phantom was summoned
@fouralive9636 Well, my idea was to give Phantom the one thing Yato and Texas lack - (slightly longer) staying power. Texas has Arts covered and Yato has Physical/Arts mixup covered. There's no need to tread that pathway again. Flexibility is Phantom's strong suit and having an all around buff that persists no matter what skill you use (as long as the clone stays out) is the best way to make use of that. We're not comparing it to skill value because it wouldn't make sense to. It's a different scaling source so that would still be a 30% buff to the damage as long as you deploy the clone before S3 hits. I was trying to be moderate, because Phantom has decently high damage potential with both S2 and S3, but 30% ATKSCALE on S2 would allow him to persist into higher armor values without making him a redeploy guard or causing him to eat into his counterparts' niches - any of which will do the job better than he will anyway. Personally, if he's gonna be pure physical (and I sincerely hope he stays that way), he needs help to make that his niche - whether that be percentage buffs while clone is out, ignore DEF on shared targets or having him and his clone both be unable to do less than X% of their damage a la Projekt Red. TL;DR: Phantom's niche is single-hit CC and multi-lane blocking/baiting. Increased ATK/DEF/Max HP/Effect Duration while Clone is also deployed will help him do those jobs better - he's unfortunately not meant to be a boss killer, not like his counterparts are, so take him down a different path.
Buff that I can think for his module is give his lvl 1 module the clone don't consume deployment limit and able to summon the clone on ranged tiles, while the lvl 2 give him penetration and increased damage when clone is deployed, maybe around 40% for lvl 2 and 50% for lvl 3
@@DeltafangEX i dunno i still think 30% seems kinda insignificant not only for bosses but current elite enemy, not to mention its kinda tedious if i have to timing phantom and their clone to get 30% atk up for s3 (since u need to summon phantom first before summoning its clone) but i do agree on ignore defense and projekt red talent...or maybe just give him additional def down debuff on hit that seems nice

Nah, Surtr is still top tier meta. Although texas alter is called fast redeploy Surtr, she can't really deal all her damage against the boss before dying. She also have to kill 1 enemy before she can re activate her skill so you can't really use it most of the time. Her s3 is way better skill since it's an mob elite eraser. It's also the safer skill that can reactivate her skill easily that can stun cancel most enemies so she can deal all her damage potential.
@@yevvale4024 y'all are forgetting that 6* specialist tokens exist lol honestly, texas alter is stupidly broken and will be worth the effort of grinding cc and red certs for tokens but yato is the true limited operator, so make sure you get at least one copy of her no matter what
