@@ExpertSleepersLtd I thought the Algorithm would do something like loading a Kit. I think this would make sense in order to make the use of the module more immerdiate. I guess I could get this done by myself by saving a preset. But if I havent used the module in a while, I admit I have to read the manual again for all of this. And there are moments when I just want to play and not study. But thank you for responding, this helps.
Curious to know what the workflow is to prepare samples to be used in this mode on the ex when using live. I assume it's just recording them in the audio recorder mode and then assigning those recordings to trigger inputs in this mode. Is it that simple? Are there any limitations? Is there a way to trim silence off the beginning and end of the recordings?
Are you asking about sampling live, or preparing samples for playback when playing live? The files on the card are just WAVs. You can record them using the recorder mode or drop them onto the card from your computer. There are no sample editing tools onboard currently.
Im not sure if this has been answered but im trying to trigger the Ex in SD 6 mode using a Beatstep Pro. All I get is a garbled nasty digital distorted sound. It's as iff the outputs from the BeatStep seem to be way too hot and overloading the inputs. What am I doing wrong?
thanks for filming in 4K, helps with seeing the OLED
I simply connect different triggers to play a kit - but i only access bassdrums, not a snare or so. What am I doing wrong?
You'll need to choose the sample you want to be triggered by each input via the parameters.

This is awesome!

👏👏👏👏👏
I see your doing some research lol
@@kalubandali2241 Hey Hey, Kalu! 🤗😁👊 Indeed I am!
❤️ Got one of these in my new setup - it just arrived yesterday! ❤️
How is the F8R connected to the Disting?
Ámbar Alejandra there’s a midi input on the back of the disting which is super sweet
MIDI in this video, but you can connect via i2c as well.
Hey Os, would there be any chance of getting delay added to this algorithm in a future firmware update?
An echo effect, like in SD Multisample? Possibly. It could get fiddly given the flexible output assignments.
Aye exactly. But that’s a fair point about the outputs.

The outputs of the BSP are way too hot and overload the inputs.
@@ExpertSleepersLtd Bugger! (Thanks for the prompt reply) Would that also apply to the KeyStep too? (not pro or 37).
@@mookmusik Not as far as I know. It's easily worked around with a passive attenuator.
@@ExpertSleepersLtd Thanks for you help,
Fine for me with BSP Gates at minimum
