There are a few steps you can try to fix this issue using the Yoast SEO plugin:
-Install Yoast SEO plugin through your wordpress admin and complete integration wizard.
-Make sure the featured image is set correctly in the WordPress post or page. To set the featured image, go to the post or page editor and look for the "Featured Image" box on the right-hand side. Click "Set featured image" and select the image you want to use.
-Check that the featured image is properly set in the Yoast SEO plugin's social media settings. To do this, go to the Yoast SEO plugin's settings page and click the "Social" tab. Then, click the "Facebook" tab and make sure that the "Use post/page featured image" option is selected.
-Check the Facebook debugger tool to see if there are any issues with the featured image. To use the debugger tool, go to the Facebook Debugger page ( / debug ) and enter the URL of the post or page where the featured image is not showing up. The debugger tool will show any issues that are preventing the image from being displayed on Facebook.
-If the issue persists, try clearing the cache for your website and for the social media platform (e.g. Facebook). This can sometimes help resolve issues with images not showing up properly.
If you have tried all of these steps and the featured image is still not showing up on social media, it may be helpful to consult the Yoast SEO plugin's documentation or seek assistance from the plugin's support team.

I could see my post feature images that i shared on instagram but I could not see the images on my normal facebook profile or facebook business page. Adding the profile links to yoast like you said worked great thankyou.

Sory dude but now YOAST Version 20.4 does not come with Search Appearance and Social Image setting is now only available in Premium so you wont see your feature image
I disabled yoast still no luck. Did you get yours to work?

Great video, just didn't work for me. Before, the image would show with or without the Yoast social stuff. But even when I add my images there, save, and go back to FB, still doesn't show even when I use that FB Debugger tool AND when I create new posts.. Not sure what the heck happened.
