I use Viper Coil Brightener, Viper foam gun, and garden hose to clean both the condenser and evaporator. I made sheet metal covers that go on top of the vents going into the rv, to prevent foam and water from going inside. Cleans the coils like new on a 22 year old Coleman Mach roof top!! This process may take longer than other methods, but really gets the coils clean, especially with a warming planet, makes these older units run their best.
Nice video. Really liked the explanations .. ie rinse roof (assuming rv sidewalls too), how the condensate rinses fins (assuming if you have a heat pump unit too that both would get this effect), the "deep" horizontal spray, the 2x spraying, using a screw container, using light soap solution to do final rinse .. all very insightful. Questions, how many cans of each type spray did you use for your 3 units?
If you can't get on your roof can ypu spray the cleaner to the inside of the rv for the Evaporator? I noticed if I remove my filter from the inside I can see the Evaporator.

Nice! Thanks for watching and happy camping!
i would add to the service, Clean out the drains for evap coil... plugged drains can leak into RV
A gallon tank sprayer works easy to rinse the fins, and a box cutter helps straighten bent fins.
Is is it necessary to disconnect from shore power and or 12 V before servicing?

Yeah, I suppose you could! It would certainly be better than nothing. That's for sure! Thanks for watching!
I am paranoid I shut off all the breakers and unplug it from the post
Nice job thank you
My 2019 GE unit looks the same on the inside.
Nice! Good to know! Are you cleaning yours now?
Do I need to rinse this after cleaning?
🤣 You don't HAVE to, but I did it anyway! 🤣
@@musickthatmoves2553 probably smart.
I’d think about painting your ac cover white. Extra heat from the color black will prematurely deteriorate parts.
Yeah, who knows? Seems like there are a ton that are black these days. Thanks for watching!
It's called a fin fiddle.
Good to know! Thanks for watching!
There is too much repeat.
