- At last, Disney have finally released a new set of Hidden Disney pins! (The successor to Hidden Mickey pins). I have two pouches of the 2023 Hidden Disney mystery pins to open. In addition to finding these pins on Cast Member lanyards, they're also available in mystery pouches. You can get Disney, Star Wars, Marvel, or Pixar characters. Thankfully I had good luck with the pins I got!

Wow you got Judy! Well done 🥰
The first thing I thought when I saw the title was oh I hope she gets Judy!! 🥳
What a great unboxing! Judy Hopps AND Roger. But you are right, those borders are really bad. I've become so used to checking the backs now thanks to your earlier vlogs about fakes. So now something new to be aware of. So thank you!
Your shirt is so cute, I love the vintage look! Congrats on getting Judy Hopps and the chaser pin of Roger Rabbit, it's so satisfying seeing a successful mystery pin opening lol thank you for another great video, Emily! :)
I think I speak for all your subscribers when I say, congrats on getting the Judy Hopps pin!
I definitely didn’t think I would get that lucky!
These are so cool! I want all of the Star Wars pins! So even with those borders, can you still trade them at the parks?
Emily, do you ever see actual authentic pins in the parks and resorts? I'm scared I'm going to just see fakes only out there. 😢
These are so cool! Thanks for sharing! I could watch this kind of video all day. 😂
Completley love that shirt you have!
🤓 nice new look!
Small World pillow, I ❤❤❤ it!
Nice 50th anniversary of Disney World Banner.
Great video!! Really nice pulls from this set, so fun to have Hidden Disney pins making their comeback!

I really love your channel. It's so heart warming, wholesome, and entertaining. With so much turmoil in the world, it's nice to have a place that feels like home.
Thank you for the such kind words!
The Toy Story RC pin is super cute! I feel like he’s not on a lot of pins.
How do you know what the past collections are? We are trying pin trading for the first time this fall and I don’t know how to know which collection to try to go for. Is there a site to look at that shows the collections?
Nice unboxing.
I opened a handful and got 4 fantasias! I just need the chaser and the fairies(: where would you recommend to trade for them? I have a duplicate Pegasus and some planes
I usually trade in the pin groups on Facebook, many will come up in search :)
I really like the idea of these hidden Disney pins but so many of the pins are just sort of meh. I do like all the ones you got though.
Hi Emily. I wonder why they changed the name from hidden Mickey to hidden Disney? Especially since they still have the Mickey ear icon on them. It wouldn't be the same without it. 😁 Your Beignets ears are great! ~Ali 🎀🏰💖
They just wanted to include more of the properties Disney bought, they now have Star Wars, Marvel, and Pixar icons too :)
@MagicallyEmily ok that makes sense. I remember you mentioning that in your video. 😊 That's cool they added those too.
How can one even detect fakes today with all those differences between the legit pins?
Nowadays, it does really require a lot of familiarity with pins. Knowing what pins have vs haven’t been faked, knowing what the authentic one is supposed to look like, etc. For people who are newer to pins, there unfortunately aren’t clear rules to follow anymore.
So 'hidden' in this case is referring to the opaque bags, not the park 'hidden Mickey' where there's 3 rocks or whatnot in a Mickey shape…
No, in the early-2000s, these pins were originally called ‘Cast Lanyard’ pins, as you could find them and trade for them on Cast Member lanyards. But to better identify them, they changed them to ‘Hidden Mickey’ pins in the mid-2000s, adding a ‘hidden’ Mickey icon on the front of the pin. Now, ‘Hidden Disney’ pins may have that Mickey icon, or a ‘hidden’ Star Wars, Marvel, or Pixar icon. The main way to get these pins used to be trading on pin boards or cast lanyards in the parks (which you can still do), but it’s just in recent years they moved to also immediately releasing the mystery pouches.
Kind of disheartening about the border issue on those couple of pins. I really wish that Disney would do something to make them prove even more authentic.
