Great job as always CS and CB. Love the national talking heads keep doubting Michigan. All while crowning the Bucknuts for winning the offseason. See you in 3 months Cryin’ Ryan.
Michigan is one of the rare teams that can still win around a changing quarterback situation, because we have never depended on our QB for our gameplan, although it certainly helps
lol disagree with Safdi here. If Alex Orji dominates and clearly shows that he is the guy during his stint out as QB1, then they should give him the meaningful reps and allow him to grow and be ready vs Texas. And they should not have a platoon-type system when they face off against a top 5 team. that's a disaster waiting to happen.
Is it? I clearly remember a Chris Leak led Florida Gators team winning a natty with Tim Tebow coming in on every short yardage and goalline situation as a true freshman. Cardale Jones and JT Barrett were pretty good for OSU. Jarrett Lee and Jordan Jefferson had a lot of success at LSU too. What was your point again?
I feel that. The point was just that a couple drives isn’t the end all be all. If one person hasn’t separated themselves throughout camp, a couple drives shouldn’t decide it - especially when the other guy doesn’t get his chance yet
I will never like interchange of QB . Rhythm is everything. And saturated QB Play grows an identity for the whole offense. Especially center to QB exchange.
@@freeheeler00 What is exactly your point? You are arguing a point nobody is making lmao. Because this was not my point or was Balas and Safdi's. lol. I never said that you cannot have two QBs. My only point was that if Orji or Warren runs away from the other one then they should continue to get the reps needed to play Texas. lol. And that if they are clearly good enough then they should take all the reps vs Texas because you do not want the QB competition to distract the team vs. a top 5 opponent.
@@benniewoods711 Yup. If Orji looks like Cam Newton during his first two drives, then what is the point in giving Warren a 'chance'. Let him go out and gain quality experience for the Texas game. It is not like they are facing three straight cupcakes and they can play around with those teams. Same with Warren, if Warren looks like Brock Purdy, then let him and the WRs gain chemistry.
I don't buy this Orji hype at all. It's a pipe dream. He will not be able to throw the ball well enough. I think it's definitely going to be Warren, whether that's week 1, 2, or 3. Orji will make a great package QB, though.
😂 Safdi is suspect . Warren is anyone's guess. From what we get to see you can't count him out is a fact . He stands in there 4 sure watching spring games. He's pushing Orji who hasn't shut down the competition. Just a fact . No shade on Orji . Warren gets the nod as starter as a passer. We can win with him getting more reps and more experience. I like his poise and pocket presence.
They always talking about somebody can't throw the ball Tim Tebow can throw the ball but since he was such a good rusher all us receivers will always wide open... Davis Warren had plenty opportunity in game he didn't do nothing but throw interceptions
Having a two QB system is just a disaster waiting to happen. A few years ago we kept inserting JJ in games and it ultimately cost us the MSU game with him fumbling. I hope Moore goes with the guy who is more accurate during camp and let's him use Fresno State as a tune up game before Texas.
Good riddance to Cade. Not only did he not fulfill his duties as a captain, but he negotiating his NIL deal before the season ended. God bless Rod Moore. He could’ve easily just withdrawn from school and prepared for the combine. Instead he’s out here coaching on the sidelines and breaking down film.

Let’s Go. But expectations are low.
Stop with the Jack Tuttle mess...he's had 6yrs, and he's always hurt...lets develop Orji, Warren & Jayden Davis.
Yeah it’s gotta be between Warren and Orji now, them and Davis for the future
Or just let the smoke and mirrors talk continue so Texas has 3 QBs to prep for.
Absolutely
Tuttle been in college going on 7 yrs and hasn’t beaten anyone out yet for QB1 yet! Ain’t happening

Going to first game. Can't wait. Go Blue!
Can Orji manage the offense? Can he read a defense? Can he get the team into the right play? Can he execute the plays?
If so, the job is his to lose

Agreed! I’ve said this for a while now. If we start Orji just because he’s big and could run then we will regret it.
Jack Tuttle lost a QB competition to Connor Bazelak.
You're missing the fact that HC Tom Allen was making that call. Name one good coaching decision he has ever made.
😂, yep

What poise you only seen him in a spring game

This will be a platoon & that's not a bad thing.
