Hi billy joe and Danny hope you are all ok and keeping well I live in England so can’t get over as yet but I love to hear all the stories that you tell us about Elvis I think family meant everything to him and he knew where he came from and how they struggled as a family and he did t want to see family do the same I think that having his family around was his safety net for him and he knew that family wouldn’t have taken advantage of his wealth and he got so much pleasure seeing other peoples joy I am so glad that you kept a lot of the things he gave you treasured memories of places and times that you spent with him no one can take that away from you look forward to the next one take care

Thank you so very very much for sharing. I know that you all here that often, even from me. I want you to know though, it is not just something that I’m throwing out there. It comes from the heart. Hey listen, I was born In ‘62 but for the most part of my life I was raised by my Grandparents, I thoroughly enjoyed every story my Grandfather told. Both my Grandparents would tell such fun & neat true stories, not only did their eyes light up when telling them but it would take me back to things that I could only dream about. A simpler time that I envied. People loved 1 another & sincerely cared about their neighbors then.(not that some dont now but it isn't the same). Now that my Grandparents are gone, our once close family, has scattered across the states & family reunions are not even an interest to the younger ones. Anyway, as I see you all together & talking about living near each other or even on the same property, is an example of love to me. The feeling of nostalgia comes rushing in. As if we are sitting on the porch with you & the cool wind of Autumn air is participating in bringing the memories close & whisking us all away to a distant place & time. Well, Danny & Family, that is the best way that i know how to explain it. Thank you, seems insufficient, I can only hope that what I have tried to explain, reaches you all, to know just how much these lil moments of your lives you share with us, is so much more appreciated than you know. For me, it is a relief from the chaos of this day & age & for a few moments, I am sitting with you on the porch feeling it. Being a part of a wonderful family again & sharing in the life of a person the world loved/loves. Then by doing so, you & family have cultivated a following kinship & our hearts are touched by you & blessed.

Billy. I just heard that Vernon was a really bad guy when Elvis was a lil boy. Drank a lot came home And he would fight with Gladys and grma Minnie. He was such a bad guy they were kicked out of their homes This stories were are so sad. I’m so glad he made it and did his best to help his family. But if stories were true I wonder why Vernon was always with his amazing son. Oh I know cuz that’s just the way he was. Loved everyone. This is dixie from texas, born and raised in alexandria, va, I have always loved elvis, I had a shit with rhinestones that said Elvis across it, I loved his fan club I got some great pictures, I saw Elvis in 1976, and have his autograph. I was so in love with him, here in texas we have a look alike and does a good elvis, his name is craig parker. There will never be another elvis, he was the most beautiful man. And sexy oh my gosh.

This is dixie from texas, born and raised in alexandria, va, I have always loved elvis, I had a shit with rhinestones that said Elvis across it, I loved his fan club I got some great pictures, I saw Elvis in 1976, and have his autograph. I was so in love with him, here in texas we have a look alike and does a good elvis, his name is craig parker. There will never be another elvis, he was the most beautiful man. And sexy oh my gosh.

I came across an Elvis documentary recently, probably made in the late 70s/early 80s and it included interview clips of you. Your make up was every bit as amazing then as it is today. I wish I had your make up skills!
