A support card for Bomb Warrior was completely unexpected.

@@jari948 Yes, but Bomb Warrior is a Wild archetype so I didn't expect it to return in Standard.
Mech warrior is actually going to be good, no doubt it will be a good tier 2 deck. It needed a mana cheat card and a good 10 drop mech for chemical spill. Really good mech warrior support!
Yes, that was my major annoyance with the deck before - not enough big Mechs to actually make it work.
I can't wait to try those cards out in my Bomb Rattlegore Duels deck!

in the card library Brann shows as 8 mana, because they updated it too quickly before announcing the nerf. Saddle up is also 4 mana in the library now instead of 3, so that's probably getting nerfed too.

Changing the highlander cards was a mistake, removing steam cleaner was a mistake. They should have just put albatross back into standard and kept steam cleaner

Changing the highlander its not a problem. Highlanders too power full. AKA: Brann are the only outlier and real problem

@@EligorArgentumNot just Brann, but Boomboss. Every other Highlander decks have win cons that do not just insta-win. But Boomboss is an insta win with zero interaction and zero counter. Even with Stramcleaner it is still disgusting and should not be a thing.
Plagues should not be a thing for the same reason.. zero interaction..
It is genuinely pathetic they could not come up with a more interesting mechanic for Plagues than this..

Worth noting Part Scrapper is mana cheat that actually stacks with itself. Most "your next X costs less" are on a minion sharing the same type so you can never double up on the discount.

Bomb warrior is my all time favorite archtype. This new cards make me happy.
I mean, double part scrapper into a 0 mana Safety Expert 8/8 rush with the weapon and it's mini make for 9 shuffled bombs. That is a bit scary and relatively easy to pull off. Boomboss thins enemy decks too. The only thing is that this lives and dies by part scrapper. I wanna try a taunt/bomb mech warrior now tho.
Explodineer does kinda work as a punish if someone uses heavy draw or shuffle/redraw effect, or just as a random damage effect jts good enough for that cost
Part Scrapper might be the card we were missing to break The Replicator-inator. All the Parts of it are mechs, the base, the mini and the giga so you can discount both the base and the giga by 5 mana making the base one free!!! And the giga 3 mana! That might be the missing ingredient to open up those broken combo Zeddy was imagining/expecting/fearing. Part Scrapper may be the next cause for the "Warrior gatekeeps eveey slow deck out of the meta" Problem I personally felt emerging after the last patch.
not sure how part scrapper isn't a 5/5 meta warping card. I think the restitution for warrior cards for it being bad for so long after the mass nerfs has been fully paid at this point.
I think the main reason it's probably not a 5/5 is because the mechs available are just very...meh? Not bad, but nothing gamebreaking either.
I kinda thought the bomb support in Caverns of Time confirmed Blizzard didn't want to print bombs back into standard but I am thrilled to see otherwise. Safety Expert gives Inventor Boom another target besides Iron Juggernaut too.
I can see Explodineer being run in aggro decks as a counter to the combo-heavy draw your entire deck archetype that puppetmaster dorian promotes
It could be possible, but aggro decks would rather run minions which can just outright kill the opponent then a 2/4 which *maybe* deals 5 damage this game
@@popeneiad7968 It definitely depends on the meta, but I can see it be a valid tech card. 3 Mana 2/4 Deal 5 to Face seems like it has a decent shot at being ran

Yes.
TNT can blow up the bombs.
However, the flip side is; you can use TNT to empty the opponents deck. Then shuffle in bombs to kill them.

Seeing safety expert reminded me how much i want to see reno lone ranger nerfed/removed entirely.
Safety expert is a 3. The only thing that beats dummy right now is big boards, that nullifies it, and everydeck is heavy drawing at the moment

That seems such a useless nerf.
I cannot recall when I got to play Brann on turn 6 anyways.. plus more often than not you just need him for Boomboss activate or maybe Inventor Boom..
I should not be surprised those cowards would not dare change the effect..
I think the best nerf is leave him at 6 and make it the first battlecry each turn.

@@Ninguin That doesn't do anything though. Warriors rarely play more than 1 BC each turn anyway outside of Zola/Brewmaster on excavate reward.
Brann's problem is it allows them to be doubling BC's the entire game, so they get to double excavate reward, Boomboss, Dr Boom, their excavate cards, Zilliax, even Badlands Brawler is strong with double BC (As it removes deathrattle/reborn summons)
Neither limiting the effect to 1 BC each turn nor increasing Brann's mana cost does anything at all to stop Brann being dumb.
I play him in like 20% of the time on turn 6 because there’s more pressure, and even if you think 8 is too much I’ll just Reno and get a free turn 💀

Explodineer is a nice option for the spell mage card
Eventually taunt warrior in wild is going to be unbeatable if it keeps getting support every expansion.

I was expecting big mech to come...this is perfect for me , thats what I needed for some fun...just a pitty that it isnt 8mana card with some 8/6 stats so we can have chance to get it from Azerite Ox and 6 health that it will survive if we can get it on board with chemical split then pop the deathrattle with weapon and then trade :D Do I ask too much? :D
After a decade I created my first warrior deck. I will give a try to Part Scrapper.

I know that it might be strong, but I kind of feel like each of the packs could be one mana. I know a Guy still doesn't see play and it gives +1/+2 now. It sees 3 cards not 5, but most of the time you aren't playing more than one. It is theoretically 5 cards, but since you aren't playing all of them, its more like discover 2 random taunt minions for 1 mana, and similar cards rarely saw play.
Mech warrior wont be good til Reno gets rotated. I've been trying to make it work ever since WW dropped. How do I get my inventor boom to work if my mechs get poofed? It really is a shame we have to wait so long

Yeah, bet rogue is getting a “cards from other classes” pack. Because Tess Greymane is in standard.
@@murlocmasher3368 But the packs are supposed to be more specific, like we had Beasts for Hunter and Taunts for Warrior so it would make sense for Rogue to get Combo.
@@locogato3488 Taunt is a key word, and Beast is a minion tag. As far as I’m aware, there isn’t clear boundaries on the cycle so far. But mechs would make sense for rogues as well. I just doubt they’d give rogue a combo pack, because playing the pack already turns on combo.
An attempt to revive Combo Rogue while their combo package is still in standard is plausible.
I'm not sure if it will be any good still.
What a great idea to give Warrior mana cheat! Have fun facing Zilliax on turn 2, even Turn 1 with coin!
Maybe Explodineer works in priest? The card isn't very expensive, and you can get extra copies with Creation Protocol, Power Word: Synchronize and Shattered Reflections. The challenge would be that 3 mana 2/4's are terrible tempo.
It's Astral Automation just better for this strategy?
@@locogato3488 Depends. Astral Automatons can be removed before they ever get to attack, unless you get an extra turn somehow. There's currently no way to remove bombs in standard besides overdrawing and burning them.
@@Kaeldorn I don't know about Standard, but in Wild Automatons are way to easy to copy, their stats scale fast and become very hard to remove early.
I'm actually fine with bomb warlock being a thing I don't mind plague either with the highlander changes.
You can cheat the 10 cost mech for 5 or 0 and double trigger it with the wrenches. The question is if this bomb combo stuff works better than plagues. Playing Plague DK made me hate this shuffle dmg playstyle cause you can be countered by the opponen just drawing luckily no matter how hard you pop off which feels terrible.

I'm playing a mech warrior deck with only target dummy and I just all I do is make copies of it and trigger its death rattle to wipe the opponent's board and kill them

Weird for bombs to be in this set, there's hardly any support for it. Probably fits in as some nice inevitability for the deck

It's so weird that the packs don't give you until the end of your next turn at least. It's going to be complete random garbage so at least give the extra turn to maybe get value or in warrior's case a chance to handbuff the taunts and still play them.
Explodineer is a week nerf card, should be 2/3, a 2/4 is hard to kill.
Does comments and likes on multiple videos increase chances on Give Aways?

the bombs are cool until you realize they're very bad with boomboss because the tnt might just remove them from your opponent's deck 😞
That of course is the big question. We have to know if the TNT's will avoid bombs like they do other copies of TNT. If they do this could be a really disgusting deck.

In wild: Explodineer + Inner Rage, copy it with Battleworn Faceless, copy both with Sudden Genesis + Drakkari + Elekk = 8 bombs at the end of a turn. Needs reduction from Thaurissan on all cards and a coin from Mailbox Dancer.

it says lose up to 5 armor so it can discount up to 5 mana
