I'm so torn on if I should get an ipod or a new small iphone. Because here's the list of stuff: Ipod touch can be used with offline mode specific stuff. This could extend battery life. I could also carry a power bank. I also won't be using too much battery as it serves as entertainment during a commute to work or school. Maybe for like fun with ios stuff. And just having that native headphone jack is sooooo convenient. I wish we could get one more ipod touch model with some newer specs but also a bigger battery and it could keep that headphone jack and call it a day.
maybe you should invest in an iphone se 2016? it's smaller but at the same time it has a headphone jack. the battery may not be the best but you could always have a power bank. best of luck to whatever you choose tho!
Very interesting video. I definitely think the iPhone 7 would be the 'better' option in my opinion since it supports cellular connectivity and generally has better specs overall.
@@MattsTech I envy you sir! 🥺 when I was in High School I was working to keep my phone in service and it took me a few months to save up for my 1st Apple product, which was the iPod Classic 6th Genius 160GB, I think I bought it in 2011, my ex was using it and I think she set it down and forgot it somewhere we passed by and that was that, I lost it within 3 months 😞 then in 2012 I was able to get her a used iPod Touch and I thought it was so cool, I wanted one myself but no monies 😢 So I just want it for nostalgia reasons but I find it crazy how expensive the iPod Touch still is meanwhile iPhones are cheaper and better 🤦🏽♂️
It’s unfortunate, I’ll agree. The iPod touch is inferior, yet more expensive. With it being more and more of a collector’s piece now that it’s been discontinued, it’s value has become more and more expensive.
100% would recommend an iPhone 6s as an iPod over an iPhone 7. They’re basically the same thing but the 6s has a headphone jack. No point in buying the 7 when 6s exists
Sad to see it go but I get it. Many past year retired iPhone is a way better option. A 6S Plus @ 256Gb & 5.5" LCD w/ Haptic Touch engine is still on iOS 16.7.2 w/ headphone jack & 4K video & 1 of the better of it's time single lens camera systems. Sadly, no IPS rating. The 7 Plus could be better if you need headphone jack. 6S Plus was a milestone in iPhne tech since the 4S & later XS Max in my humble opinion. Not to mention, a 6S Plus today in Jan 2023 is still fully usable as a backup on your Apple Ecosystem w/ a SIM in a pinch. Used Catalyst or similar waterproof cases make it an affordable out in the wild or play action camera & iPod. Leave the $1,600 14 Pro max safe in the car.
The iPhone 7 removed the headphone jack to boost AirPods sales.

The reason for the headphone jack removal was an excuse for ppl buying AirPods
Edit: also this vid won’t stop me from buying iPod Touches tbh
Yes, it’s clear that any used iPhone is better than an iPod…..but bro, it’s an iPod! Look at it, we needs it 🥺 lol
Hehe, that’s why I have almost every generation of iPod touch! 😆

Unless you want 256GB of storage, then I totally agree!
@@MattsTech Yes that’s true. Or if you just don’t care about the headphone jack.

Use iPhone 7 for a week please. Keep up the good work.
The iPhone 7 is way too usable atm
A lot of rambling, not a lot of facts.
Yup, that’s how I am!
I love collect old iPods and iPhones
I’ve got an iPod touch 7 and an iPhone 7
Bro the iPod is part of my name.. AAAAAAAAA
That phone has chance of audio ic failing and boot looping rip.
That issue wasn't exclusive to the iPhone 7, and it was fixed later on. It's also quite rare for it to occur. :)
@@MattsTech hm I don’t remember the 6s having it. Could happen though.
or just buy a iphone xr its cheap and like a ipod i guess
an iPod video in 2023
