What you leave out taught me as much as what you paint in the first layers. The wet on wet technique creates such a fluffy texture with minimal brushstrokes. You make it look effortless. Thank you.
I love your paintings - especially as you paint mostly animals and thats what I want to paint. However as a beginner I don't think I am ready to be as quick and loose as you paint - hopefully when I have learnt more I can. Its a shame as so many sites that teach technique paint flowers and landscapes neither of which really interest me!
Hi Emily, do you think it may be possible to add your line drawings for those of us that struggle with drawing? So many of your tutorials are amazing and I would love to try but need to trace as I can not draw.

Great video! I need to use that Burnt Umber, Indigo mix.
It's my favorite! A lot of artists use Ultramarine/Burnt Sienna. Payne's Grey is also a great substitute for Indigo.
