In my opinion the crown jewel of the museums diesel fleet is the vintage Burlington Nebraska Zephyr it was Originally built as the Twin Cities Zephyr it was later reassigned as the Nebraska Zephyr it originally had an early diesel engine with the front appearance of the Pioneer Zephyr one surviving example is the Silver Charger on display at the St. Louis Museum of transportation today the Zephyr is pulled by Chicago Burlington and Quincy E5A number 9511 one of the last operating slant nose E units In operation

CB&Q 9911A Is Definitely one of the more impressive pieces at the museum! One of a kind and fits the set perfectly.
She ones had a B unit that was called silver twin but unfortunately I think at some point that was scrapped

2:07 there's that famous GE "WHOOP"
Hopefully the UP Geeps get returned to their original MP colors, along with the Dash 8 getting returned to it's original SSW colors.
Any clue what happened to the union pacific unit number board
No idea, from what I've seen it arrived from storage like that.
Wow did Union Pacific donate to more of their diesel locomotives?
They're stores on the property for an EMD Employee Event next weekend
Wow that’s very cool
@@StevenJam what is the emd employee event?
@@iatif1995 Not sure on specifics. If I had to guess it's just an event for emd employees to visit with their families like UP Does
@@StevenJam so they aren’t staying then?
