I used to live close to a discount grocery but I've not found one here. The closest I've found is a "Bins" place but they have very limited grocery and no cold foods.
I completely agree with the Cocoa Puffs/Lucky Charms disaster of a cereal mix. LOL! "No, that looks too healthy for me..." Hahaha! I would tear into a discount store...maybe it's good that we don't have any near us because all our Food Stamps would be gone!

Leg quarters are under-rated. I buy them all the time, will cook a whole pack and shred the meat. Really economical and in a casserole you cannot tell the difference IMO
Yesterday at my local Krogers in Central Illinois they had the Malto Meal cereal bags two for a dollar good till August 2023. A friend had me pick up 20 bags for her she has three young boys they were also marking down toilet paper and paper towels really cheap they said they were trying to make room in the back they had Christmas products coming in. I got some caramel dip recently at Kroger markdown $1.49 good till the middle of next year. I also got that white baker's chocolate for 47 cents clearance good till end of next year I'm not I'm thinking those deals are not that good
Florida is ginormous!!! I wouldn’t even know where to start looking- there’s Orlando, Miami, Tampa, Key West, etc. maybe a Google of Discount Grocery Stores near me. Then decide how far you’re willing to drive. My limit is 1 and half hours if for several people.

Wow I keep saying to myself what an amazing price and you put it back saying cheaper elsewhere……lol ……..I would be buying a flat of almost everything at those prices if we had stores like that here …..some of that meat at under $3 a pound we pay up to $15 pound ( allowing for conversion to kg ) ….. I haven’t seen any steak under about $20 kg for ages even on special , chicken breast is about $10 kg on a super special, usually around $15 kg , sausage ( we call it mince here in Oz) is about $7.00 1/2 kilo , cheese here is about $25 kg and up , for anything other than plain brand cheddar which is about $13 kg . Cereal like sultana bran is about $9.00 for an 800gm box on special ……….oh I wish we had great discount stores .

Rethink the statement “if you’re eating a salad the dressing should be full”. Salads are supposed to be good for you, not loaded with excess calories that you end up wearing!
