Today we make the bed and its the hardest thing we've done so far, building a van has really tested us and we will never do this again hahaha.. It's mentally and physically demanding but we are so close to the end now and cant wait to get back on the road..

Considering you're upgrading from an ageing Vinnie and needed a more mechanically sound van, can't help thinking you're overdoing it, slatted stained headboards, and specky finishings etc from what was a fully serviceable van... sort of annoying when probably some of us thought the new van would be off on your adventures long before now...

You must know people watch your videos to enjoying watching the two of you interacting with each other. It is interesting watching the build. Isn’t that what you do whenever you go wherever you go to see whatever you see!

It amuses me when people say they enjoy vanbuilds i hated it i enjoy using it now it's finished but building it was a horrendous ordeal

Nick if you use the circular saw in anger again put the lead over over your shoulder to keep it out of the way and so it doesn’t stray in front of you!

I enjoy seeing your Van building in a place that is so completely different from Sweden where it is still too cold for Vanlife and where you never hear roosters crowing in the background.
sweden is a wonderful place to have van adventures

Is everyone in Europe so at ease with heights that have no barriers? I lost my breath when you were close to the edge, and a NO slipped out when the dogs got up on the edge.😲😬🥴

A tip too late, tongue and groove can usually be fixed by the lower side of the groove on each piece that then gets covered when you put the next groove, hiding all the screw heads.

Well you really cheered up this evening...your interaction between yourselves is absolutely brilliant...the banter and editing was perfect....I can only imagine the outtakes, as I know what a partial vanbuild is like...still got a porthole window to fit when the weather improves and other jobs that require good weather....after 5months of rain and mizzle in the UK...Cornwall we deserve some decent weather🎉😅

You can use shrink hoses for the wire ends. Much more easier than tape and you have a good result.

💜Love the indoor outdoor space at your cottage.
Having used those folding supports, my experience is that they don't... at least not 100% reliably. Often what seems to happen is that the screws shear off under the load, so for what it is worth, my advice is put a secondary support in - perhaps a little extending spigot from that aluminum frame on the other side of the doorway. Then if the screws shear - you'll at least get a bit of reaction time before the whole bed collapses.

I like the fold out bed if u have to need more support at end of bed near sliding doo u could always use the same idea as the on u showed in video on front o base of part of bed.I love your videos and like ur hubby's full name glad u are showing the build . and the ups and downs it's real and life is a pain sometimes kisses to. harlie and dizzy I like the fact that you can do electric that scares me

1/2 plywood with long piano hidge to hold up your bed, Swing up under the slats when not needed and down when sleepig etc, otherwise your next bonk could be your last lol Take care guys

Great van build but get the electrics checked for voltage use of cables. You are doing a great job.
Van is looking good, you are doing a great job on it. I got so nervous when I saw the doggies on the edge of the roof top. I would be so afraid my dog would fall off.
